Proposing Marriage to Argentine Girl

t rained all day and I didn't sleep very well. I woke up feeling uneasy and quite nervous. Today my girlfriend was scheduled to leave the US and go back home to her native Argentina. Patricia has been here 3 months on a "Visa Waiver program" visiting me. Our relationship has been sometimes difficult, depite our language barrier ( I speak alittle Spanish and she speaks alittle English) we have managed to exchange many phone calls, e-mails and couple visits during our two year relationship.
Patricia is great girl. Not only is she absolutely beautiful with pale model looks, long light brown hair and lithe frame she is the most unselfish person I have ever known. Afterall, I'm a struggling Corean American professional guy in my early 30's while she's a 24 year old gorgeous girl who had much more promising opportunities than I can ever hope to offer. Ever since I first layed my eyes on her smiling brown eyes and soft curling lips I was hooked. Our days and nights just flew by under the warm summer skies. But all good things must come to an end right?
Patricia and I have been dreading this day, again it seemed we are destined to be apart. Patricia had told me time and time again she didn't want us to be separated again because we are soulmates. But what can I do? Its was hard on me too. Hey, this time at least its only for couple of months, it didn't sound so bad in the begining. But as the time for her departure near we hugged, kissed and it was harder and harder to let her go again.
As we prepared to depart for Kennedy airport in New York City, some strange feeling came over me and somehow I felt if I didn't seize this moment I will not see her for a long time or never gain.
So I simply told her she didn't have to leave. Patricia looked rather puzzled as I proceeded to explain to her we should get married. It must of been difficult for her to understand me through my finger jestures and Spanglish.
It seems I've been rehearsing for this day all my life and somehow it always went more smoothly in my mind.
Anyway, she said " of course" and gave me a big kiss and a hug. Now I gotta get a ring. Wish us luck.
Dedicated to my love Patricia
