Thai Red String Ghost

his is a true story from Thailand. Now..those doctors working night shifts might find this story spooky.

A heart surgeon had performed a heart transplant. The operation failed and the patient died.

According to Thai culture, when a person dies he ties a red string to his wrist. So.. people out there, if you are in Thailand and you see a person with red string on the wrist, run quickly.

Anyway.....

The next day, everything was normal, quiet night, doctors doing inspections on their patients.

So...this surgeon was inspecting his patients and took a lift up to 5th floor. The lift opened on the 3rd floor a nurse came in. The lift opened again on the 4th floor, and they saw a man walking toward the lift, but the doctor quickly closed the lift.

The nurse asked the doctor " Why did you close the lift when you saw the man walking in ? "

The doctor said " Didn't you recognise the man. He was the man we tried to save yesterday in the heart transplant, and he died. Didn't you see the red string on his wrist ?"

The nurse said " Ooohh...like the one I am wearing NOW ?"

The doctor had not been aware the nurse had died in an accident just after the failed heart transplant.
