The few friendships I've had with Asian American women have all been great. I say few, because there seem to be an understood "taboo", in the Asian Community when it comes to dating or close personal relationships with african american men. Yes, I do think most Asian women are quite beautiful, physically. And my experience has been that the beauty extends into the personality as well.

Almost everyone I meet from Texas has a racial attitude...no I take that back. Hispanics in San Antonio did not seem to have it much. The white women from Texas are stuck up, including the low paid Airline Stewardesses of the Delta Airlines I travelled with back in 1996. There are several racist Asians all over this country who would not even marry outside their ethnicity. It is a shame, no doubt considering the fact that they were treated like dirt until at least 1948. We cannot forget that the Japanese were interned during World War II, and if the Japanese had invaded the US Mainland, many would have been interred alive as well.

But, having said that there are many Asians who would date blacks. I see many such couples in California. So, please do not give up hope.

I am a 24 year old in the houston area and I must say unfortunately the asian women here who are both classy and extremely beautiful are highly racist....with a capital R and it is such a pity too because they are taught to be this way by their parents...I love asian women...and I would rather be single than to date anything else anymore....i just hope they can start to appreciate intelligent young black individuals...quite like myself :)

Whats with all this diplomatic language regarding white men being more weight conscious then black men? I'll tell you why! We brothas like our women to have an ass we can grab and meat on thier thighs. For most women that means being a bit heavier then Cosmo and other white derivative beauty standards say you should be.

to anyone who would listen:

Here is my take on the whole dating thing;

My relationships with Asian Women have been great for me. I had the most caring and passionate relationships with Asian Women. To me and with my experience, they are both sensible and sensual, warm and full of good emotions, calculating and yet live-for-the-moment, beautiful, and sexy women and I am not ashamed to say so! I love the spirit and the container it is in! What can I say? I'm smitten, and loving every minute of it! (haaaay!)

I had some family adjustment problems at first with a couple of girlfriends, but usually parents tend to like me because of my manners and look of innocence(ha ha ha). But I also had problems with African American, Native American, Indian American, and Latin American parents as well, it's just that parents want the best for their children, and if the derilects of society tells everyone that you shouldn't marry a particular person, what do u expect? Make your parents judge on a person to person basis and they will see that there is good and bad in everyone!

The world is bad enough with racism and evil doings everywhere, there is no country on Earth spotless from its acts towards its citizens of variance from the "majority" as well as our own actions towards our fellow man. Many lives were sacrificed to the foolish whims of ignorance and division. The last thing we should do is to carry on hatred that was not our own and to revive the deeds of wicked men from a best forgotten past.

Who is to say what shape or shade happiness for YOU is? Large? Small? African? Asian? Thin? Not-So-Thin? There is so much loneliness in this cold world that if anyone can find happiness that it in itself is a blessing God sent.

I think you misunderstood MagicSmoothz, he was referring to the fact that this 19 year old Asian girl (read her post) is dating 3 guys at the same time and commenting that Black guys only want sex from her. He's not saying she shouldn't check out Black guys.

that is kinda how I feel, to be honest. If I see a girl out somewhere, Asian or not, I'm not really that intent on finding someone extremely skinny or thin. I'm not going out looking for anybody grossly overweight, but I've seen girls that were larger who I find attractive, and I've seen girls who are thinner that I've found attractive...that's just how it is. The weight doesn't constitute beauty to me.
