I am a Chinese woman dating a black man right now. I had always imagined it possible, but never thought I would give it the possibility of a long term relationship as I am now. My main struggle is not what the world would think, but what my parents and family would do. I think we are great for each other, but am really struggling to move beyond the disapproval of family.

I,snt it amazing how BM,s declare that AF,s are the best. If they were dating a french girl or a german girl then all frenchman and germans would be declared "the best".It,s a case of pass one pass all.
Many black males on this board who date asian females seem to think that this is the rule rather than the exception.

Hi, I just found this site and I think its quite interesting.

I am Six feet ten inches tall and I lived in Japan for almost 8 years. I dated quite a few Japanese women while I was there. (was married to one for a while). This will sound odd, but when I was in Japan, Japanese women had only a few preconceived notions on what a black guy was about and tried to learn more. It seems to me that in the U.S., when I say a black guy with an asian woman, not only is it rare, but they usually met them in their home country. I see very few Black Americans with Asian American women. I also find that most Asian American women, just arent interested in me. Or maybe I am looking in the wrong places. Any help on that? But keep an open mind. It's not that I like asian women exclusively. It's just what I am used to having spent almost one-third of my life in Asia.

I am a 34 year old black male in the Montreal,Canada area. Over here it is the best place in the world to meet someone of a different culture because it is so diverse.I recently met an Asian girl....and I was blown away by her gentleness and compassion.
Now my eyes are more opened.....I more drawn to Asian women,more now than before.They are not only beautiful on the inside but also the outside!!!

So, "marduk" says to me "...your not that sharp." Well, mar, If you want to talk sharp let's try spelling the word "you're" correctly. My "pea sized" brain, as you put it, was a little confused at first! As for my comment about Asian women dating Asian men out of family obligation or only dating white men, I should've been more clear. I was only speaking about what I've come across with the Asian women, my first hand experience. I also see it a lot in the online personals as well. I recognize this in no way encompases Asian women world wide. None of that worries me folks, I've not given up. I'm sure I'll find plenty o' fine Asian women when I go for my "body shampoo" this weekend! KIDDING! So kidding!...no hard feelings marduk? Happy New Year? :)

That guy BRUCE 029 was on the money, you guys should go back, and read his post, he keeps it real, I feel the exact same way, don't go 4 those high maint. gold digging tramps, spend your time building up your self , and your self esteem, and the quality chix will jock you, love you, then others will love you I love asian women , don't get me wrong, but they are not God's gift to man so as soon as u (black men ) start 2 realize that, you'll be ok...props to bruce 029 later.

I'm an Asian American woman and I'm proud of it. I'm tired of the propaganda that you must be w/ a white man to be happy and successful, for you should date who you want. I'm tired of men think that all Asian women act a certain way, Asian american women and asian women act differently because of our different backgrounds, yet not all Asian and Asian American women are possessive and superficial. I'm Chinese, born in Cambodia, lived in Vietnam for 10 years and now I'm in the States. I'm a well rounded, open minded and educated woman. I do respect my family and they also respect me for who I am and who I date. I have dated different colors, now I'm w/ a black man. I'm w/ him because we get along, we're happy together, and we're just compatible.

To everyone just go out there and find happiness and just remember that you only have one life, so live however you want it. CAN WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!
