I was still a virgin and never had a girlfriend until the age of 18. That's when I joined the U.S. Marines and went to Japan. I met a beautiful Asian princess over there and she treated me way better than i've ever been treated by any woman in the U.S. She saw what was on the inside and not what was on the outside. I never was a show-off and never did "floss" my wealth the way american women like their men. I've been to seven different Asian countries and i've been treated like i was a real human being and I treated them the same way i wanted to be treated and it braught out the best in me. Not only am i about to go back to Japan, but I have higher self esteem because I believe a majority of asian women bring out the best in someone by looking on the inside...

I'm not sure if I am qualified to answer your concerns, but I would like to try. I find that we are similar in our feeling a connection to Asian culture and a desire to be in a love relationship with a woman of Asian decsent. We both have had similar frustrations and questions and we are nearly the same age.

Do I have the answers for you? Unfortunately no. I do believe that if you want to be with an Asian woman and it is meant to be, you will find her or she will find you. I live in the midwest but during my brief time in California (San Francisco area) I saw several African-American male/Asian female couples. I have had several friendships with Asian women who are particularly interested in a relationship with a Black male. They are out there, you have to make yourself available and known to them. I don't think you have to move to the far east to meet someone, but I'm sure going there will help you understand Asian culture better and you may learn some things about Asia and Asians that you probably didn't want to know.

We all know that being a Black male is hard in this world, but we are strong and intellegent and over time we will prevail to achieve whatever goals we have set for ourselves. Only you know what is best for you and what will make you happy, if you want to be with an Asian woman don't let anybody tell you you can't. I have met someone and while I can't predict the future I do care very much for her and I hope someday we will be more than friends. I see her realistically though, she's wonderful, but she's also a flawed, imperfect human just like me and everyone else. She can make me happy, but she won't magically complete me or make my life "perfect".

Just hang in there and in time you'll know what to do. I wish you all the best and I hope that you will be willing to e-mail me, I'd like to get to know you better.

There are Asian women out there who likes black men.I have friends who are attracted to blacks.People date people, not cultures.You'll find your soul mate someday.The only thing is, just be patient coz it happens when least expected.

Are you from Trinidad or Guyana? Plenty of black men with Asian women here in Guyana (mostly Indian women of course). What do you mean by Asian? Do you mean East Asian or Indian?
