The three Bs, Bahamians, Barbadians and Botswaninans are among the most friendly people in the world. Are these guys now studying in Malaysia?

To All the Asian Ladies:

Is smilling one of the ways that women of Far East communicate their thoughts? I've noticed in Asian societies there are different smiles that women do to convey their reactions. I know it's true mainly for women in general, however Asians it seems has a more complex array of smiles. Also is there some kind of taboo about people with green eyes?

I found the poll quite interesting especially from the standpoint of each group believing that the other group would not find them attractive. The African American males showed a higher percentage in the area of not believing they would be found attractive. Perhaps this is because African American men are very well aware of the great love affair that exists between the Caucasian male and the Asian female. The perception is that the facial features of the African American are not equal to the standard of beauty which has been set by whites. In addition, it is believed that Asians do not like African Americans and that many Asian women would find it not only distasteful but simply unappealing to date a man of color. Asian women who are my close friends have shared this with me and did so reluctantly because they did not want to hurt my feelings.
Despite this I have experienced only good feelings and memories with the two Asian woman that I have shared long and meaningful relationships. I would welcome communication with Asian women and men on this subject as I would like to bridge this gap between our people. I was also struck by the fear of having to address the hatred that might be encountered by friends and family of the person, black or asian, that one might be interested in dating. One of my friends, a woman from China, would tell me of the stares we would receive from other Asians when we would meet for dinner. So, it is a problem that requires the courage of the two people who want to meet and share a life with a person of a different race and culture.
