If you guys want to find Asian women, then the easiest/ best place to find them is..........

Asia!!

I am here in Mainland China right now, and they are a dime a dozen. I can tell you where are the best places, in my experience:

1. Japan;
2. China (Southern in prefernce to Northern, where interracial relationships are NOT well tolerated);
3. Phillipines. No concern about color here. It plays a second fiddle to economic necessity.

The worst:

1. Taiwan (personal experience)
2. South Korea (my personal experience has been that they are some strange, foolish acting people in that which concenrs color, although I have never dealt with them in the country).
3. Indonesia (vicarious experience)

But the Asian people in the USA are very much believers in White superiority. So it is no surprise that they are not interested in Blacks. Remember: Blacks have served as a negative reference for immigrating ethnic groups for many years now. And that would be doubly the case with Asians, who are from countries where most people are about 2 years off the farm on average. No one will admit this, but it is very correct. So it would be more likely that they (these new immigrant Asians) would want to make the point: We may be from developing countries, but AT LEAST WE AREN'T BLACK. If you read the writings of people who lived way back when (Rita Dove, Maya Angelou), you will see little traces of this point.

Alternatively, it could be the part of the country where you are from. When I lived in the Maryland/DC area, one Asian girl to whom I spoke said that she had actually seen MORE Asians with blacks that with whites. Strange but true. (I've heard that SF is more conservative than other places and that they aren't too fond of blacks down there.)

This topic is actually longer than what I cant write a post of acceptable length, but you are welcome to email me if you want.

Confused in SF,

I say go for it. The best way to understand him is to communicate. Talk to him, be open. Your guy friends, or just the Asian community of men, are often bitter. I know many Asian guys get angry when Asian girls date white guys and other non-Asians. My good friend is dating a really handsome and sweet African-American guy right now. And our guy friends give her a hard time. You just can't please them. They may get mad. But it's your life, not theirs.
