Look ya'll:
I hate to break up a flame war, but what do all of these exchanges on female hygiene have to do with Asian Female/Caucasian Male relationships? Plus, what do all these Asian Males writing in here and dropping insults have to do with serious discussions on said relationships? I think the Editor is doing a disservice by allowing too many meaningless posts and flames in this forum that don't directly or seriously have to do with the subject at hand.
I am a Caucasian Male--a Professor of Economics at Rice University in Houston. My wife Yan is a Chinese American Anesthesiologist. We have two kids--a daughter and a son--who are enrolled at the Rice School (an academically accelerted private elementary school in Houston.) We met when I was getting a second Master's Degree at USC. Yan is very kind and sweet, but gets tough when she needs to with me or the kids.
What drew us together was some common interests--classical music, touring wineries and golf. I felt very much loved by her and knew she was the one for me. We got married 15 years ago and her parents were okay with it. However, they had to very slowly tell her grandparents that she was married to a Caucasian. (We visited them in China about 5 years ago, quite an experience.)
I don't think AF/WM relationships are necessarily anything special or have any more or fewer troubles than same race relationships. It mainly has to do with the individuals: sexual chemsiry, personality compatabilitgy, respect for eachother and willingness to integrate eachothers' culture. That last part is what's most important in any relationship, interracial or otherwise.

It is I not Myrna who posted that MOST women in the Philippines are *descent*, *conservative*, and lots of women hold on to their virginity until marriage due to their Christian faith and the Filipino conservative culture. Take note I said Filipina in the Philippines and not those liberated Filipinas who were raised in Hawaii and in Western countries. Use ur common sense you idiot. Those westernized Filipinas do not have the same cultural values like Filipinas living in the Philippines. The Philippines is a conservative country. It is the only major Catholic country in Asia. When those Americanized Filipina come home to the Philippines they are perceived as "loose" Kana (Americana).
I don't know if in other Asian countries virginity is treasured as the most precious gift u can give to ur husband, but in the Philippines this Christian mentality is still strong to many women, but, of course, not to ALL women. I don't know if it is true but I heard that in other Asian countries 'condom' is freely given out in schools and campuses that is why maybe the women are not getting pregnant.
STOP judging the Filipina women by the actions of those loose Americanized Filipina. We are not the same women. Bullshit! (hahaha that's not so descent of me) Damnit!!!

There are Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese?, Russian, Latina mail-order brides as well. Prostitution happens around the world-- rich and poor countries alike. The prostitution capital of the world is Thailand not the Philippines!!!!!

Hey Korean Gal,
What is with the stereotyping? In my short life here and abroad, I've seen ugly Korean women with ugly white guys, ugly Korean men and ugly Korean women together, handsome white guys with homely Korean gals, beautiful Korean gals with hideous looking white guys, and stunning Korean couples, hunky Korean guys with stunning white women...etc.; all mixes - and I can say the same for Asian/white couples whether they be Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese etc. Let's not forget the blacks or Hispanics, etc.
Look around you in the US. You've got the whole ugly/beautiful blender going on with all couples. It's a worn out cliche, but it is truly what's inside that ultimately counts.

I see that the subject of pek-pek is quite controversial. There must be some closure on this important and divisive subject. Therefore I, in the name of science, shall undertake a comprehensive study of pek-pek properties like cleanliness, attractiveness, performance, and desireability. This will require much dedication and will have to be well documented complete with photographic evidence taken.
The sacrifices will be great but it must be done in the name of science. I now need volunters to allow me to inspect and examine their pek-pek to assist me with this noble quest.
