"Take note I said Filipina in the Philippines and not those liberated Filipinas who were raised in Hawaii and in Western countries. Use ur common sense you idiot. Those westernized Filipinas do not have the same cultural values like Filipinas living in the Philippines. The Philippines is a conservative country. It is the only major Catholic country in Asia. When those Americanized Filipina come home to the Philippines they are perceived as "loose" Kana (Americana)."
Filipino girls in Hawaii aren't THAT Americanized. With the number of Asians in Hawaii, it's almost an Asian country. But really, if you compare Hawaii Filipinas to girls of any other Asian ethnicity... Da'am!!! I see tons of pregnant Filipino teenagers while I've never seen a pregnant teenage local Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or East Asian hapa haole girls- well maybe one or two… ehehe. As for practicing the Catholic faith… hmmm… I do wonder sometimes.
Myrna, I have nothing to be jealous of.
I've had Filipino girls worship and obsess over me since I was a little hapa boy.

Hello,
I know that some people who are against WM/AF relationships will read my post and hit the roof, but I think this is indeed the place to post it.
I would just like to comment on some movies involving WM/AF relationships that I have really enjoyed. I am a WM myself.
First off, the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life is Khym Lam, who starred in "Tanamera -- Lion of Singapore". This is a great movie. Khym Lam (who would appear from her name to be Viet?) stars as a Chinese woman who winds up with a British guy in Singapore during WW 2.
I guess Khym Lam lives in Singapore, and is married to a white guy. He is very lucky.
Another good movie is "A Thousand Pieces of Gold", starring Rosalind Chao. Is it just me or is Rosalind Chao in an awful lot of WM/AF pairings in movies? I wonder what she thinks about it. She was "Keiko" on Star Trek, too. Anyway, she's cool.
There was a movie called "Chinese Box" starring Jeremy Irons and Gong Li. This isn't my favorite movie, but it has interesting parts to it.
A really bad movie is "Pillow Book", with Ewan MacGregor and Vivian ??? This movie is just plain weird. I didn't get it.
There is a movie called "Filipina Dreamgirls" that I saw a few years ago. This is about some British guys who fly to the Philippines to meet their pen-pal brides. This is an excellent movie! I would rate it as 4 stars. The movie goes into great detail about the problems with these relationships, and does not sugarcoat anything. It is very realistic, and makes you think.
The movie "Red Corner" with Richard Gere and some knockout babe was good too. Although the Chinese woman in this movie dressed in frumpy commie-style clothes, she is very attractive.
One movie I want to see is "Double Happiness" starring Sandra Oh. Now for my tastes, I am not too hot for Sandra Oh, although she is attractive. But I have heard this is a very good movie.
If you are an AF interested in dating WMs, or a WM interested in dating AFs, these movies may be very entertaining. I am sure AMs may see this in an entirely different light.
Anyway, I feel this is a valid topic for discussion.

I just came back from Croatia and i got to tell you- guys over there have Asian fetish galore. I went with my sister, Im 23, she is 21, we are both British born Chinese.
Everywhere we walked they would get excieted and ask us is if we were from Japan or Korea. Guys stared at us, and their eyes followed us everywhere, little children especially would smile and wave at us
Some guys asked us out for coffee, show us around, give us lifts in their car, stop and talk to us.....on our last night in Croatia, three young guys, about 21,22 years old all stopped to talk to us, and their mates joined them, suddenly there was 2 of us Asian girls surrounded by about 25 Croatian guys- yep- we became like a spectacle for them.
One 21 year old Croatian guy admitted that this was the first time he has talked to an Asian girl in his life, and generally enjoyed talking to me. The guys wrent threatening in any way, just merely fascinated, as they are from a war torn country which havent seen many Asians, esp English speaking ones.
