WHAT YOU SAY

[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
Hey this will be my last say on Cassandra, James, Blondie love triangle.

>“After we talked, he KNEW that I was just what he'd been wanting and needing all his life and he was ready to leave behind a superficial wench who'd make no contribution to his life. He knew that blondie would have sucked the life out of him until there was just a husk left while he knew that I'd add to his life and make him all the more alive over time.

>"True, maybe it was "less than honorable" for me to go after James when he was spoken for, but as I said before, I got a vibe from him that he wasn't happy with his present situation and I knew he wanted me. Rather than wait for the whole thing to play out like a "demure little lotus blossom", I decided to take charge of the situation and go after whom I wanted: James."

Okay let’s see:

The playing factors:
James wasn't happy with his relationship with Blondie. She can make no contribution to his life so James and Blondie obviously didn't deserve each other, they were not meant for each other. right.

Cassandra got a vibe from James that he wasn't happy with his present situation and she knew he wanted her. At the same time, Cassandra liked James, she wanted the best for him, knew that James would be happy with her than with Blondie, James and Cassandra are on the same level of intelligence, they have a lot in common, thye have a strong chemistry, so, therefore, they are compatible with each other and deserve each other. right.

The situations:
*After they talked, James KNEW that Cassandra was the one he'd just been wanting and needing all his life, he wasn't happy with Blondie anymore, and Cassandra WANTED him too. Since that was the case-- they both liked each other-- James should AT ONCE have made a decision to break-up **officially** with Blondie, AND ONLY AFTER THAT, he can bitch (sorry, I don't kno what word to use) with Cassandra and begin a wonderful, ideal relationship with her. But he didn’t do the rights things to do.
James’ fault: James the man was lacking in disposition. (hwewewe).

*After they talked, Cassandra KNEW James WANTED her and he was no longer happy with Blondie. Since that was the case—- Cassandra KNEW James WANTED her -- there was ***NO NEED*** for Cassandra to AGGRESSIVELY take charged of the situation by "boldly" seducing him and sleeping with him for her to steal him from Blondie. She can EASILY have him because he had NOTICED her already and had developed an ATTRACTION for her. Since James the man was a bit shy and poor in disposition and Cassandra was a “strong” woman who knew just want she wants and pursue it, she should have **TALKED** to James and confess to him that she liked him too.(That is the "educated" and "right" way to do to get a man and NOT through BOLDLY SEDUCING AND SLEEPING WITH HIM). After they had made a clear understanding that thye both liked each other and that they are good for each other, Cassandra ( being the "go-getter" woman ) should have told James that he MUST first settle things between him and Blondie—-end up his relationship with Blondie **officially**-- BEFORE they can get on with each other and begin their wonderful, ideal relationship. This way James would not have been a CHEATER and Cassandra would not have been a STEALER of boyfriend!!! Plain and simple. NO GUILT!

Cassandra’s fault: She took charged of the situation THE WRONG WAY. She aggressively seduced and slept with James while James IS still off limits. Cassandra's approached was “uneducated”, inconsiderate of others, and downright spiteful and malicious. She STOLE James from Blondie and SHE HAD CAUSED Blondie to form a group called 'White women against Asian women with White men' because Blondie is BITTER because she knew she was BETRAYED. Today, Cassandra still have grudges toward Blondie (when she has no right to). Blondie is now FAT and MISERABLE woman.

The Love Triangle
Cassandra: the STEALER
James: the CHEATER
Blondie: the VICTIM

Conclusion:
"Some Asian-American women in this board justify and hail what Cassandra had done and had led to believe that it is time for Asian-American women to become a Dragon Lady to get the man of their dreams."

If a blonde woman who is more intelligent and gorgeous than you appears in front of your husband and she trys to steal him from you.

How would you like to react?
I am just curious how you feel about that.

Hi Filipina Girl79! I like your reasoning and logic. We have the same mentality. Maybe because we are both Filipina?! ^-^ .We 2 are the living proof of ‘educated’, decent Filipina-Americans. Go to the Philippines they are ‘millions’!

"I'm a fiery, bold Philosophical 17 yr. old virgin Filipina-American woman!" mwahahahaha Maybe I'm just damn righteous!( but I can be sweet too!)lol

Okay Cassandra, My apologies if I'm too nasty on you. I’ll stop bashing you, but I stand firm on my opinion that what you and James had done to Blondie was wrong and unfair. Poor Blondie, she’s miserable.

“Wisdom and Character is the true measure of an educated man or woman.”
I’m educated, eventhough, I’m not very fluent in English. (I was 12 when I first got here) :-)

Asian American Male,

I remember you mentioning on another forum (the Ivy one) the racist white women refusing to sit with Asians. I hope you sat next to them just to annoy them! Better yet, if you see one acting snooty, you might look at her up and down and make an expression of utter disgust or mutter "fat and ugly" loud enough for her to hear. (If she isn't fat, she'll become anorexic--hahahaha!) That'll have her devastated for an entire day--what a minority man scorning her!

no wonder why Asian women etc., etc.

For someone who claims to be 'secure enough to be an Asian woman', you've got enough problems of your own. I suspect that you are either an AF who's having problems attracting men or that you are a fat, disgruntled, uneducated white woman whose stakes are low in the dating/marriage pool. Since logic is not your strong point, let me break it down for you, sweetheart.

First off, love is unpredictable. Unless Cassandra is actually shattering someone's marriage, why should it matter if James is involved or not? Chances are, if the blonde wanted James so badly, she would have found some way to win him back and marry him. Either the blonde subconsciously didn't really want James back or was too stupid to do anything. And as I've said in my previous post, it was James' choice too.

Secondly, why do you single out Asian women for this type of behavior when you say 'no wonder why Asian women are seen as easy?' Sweetheart, there are lots of WHITE women who steal men from other whites as well as Asians and blacks--indeed, there are probably women of ALL races who do this: are you going to say then that 'no wonder white women are easy' or 'no wonder black women are easy'? FYI, I have a WF friend whose AM boyfriend (yes!) got stolen by another WF. Does that make the latter less 'easy' than a Cassandra? Or is it more acceptable in your eyes for white women to act aggressively?

Thirdly, while I can't speak for Cassandra's malice towards the blonde, I wonder if it was not because blondie acted very smug and self-satisfied in front of her. I have encountered enough white women who assume themselves superior to Asian women--and men--by virtue of race only: many will sometimes get even more annoyed when they see a minority woman with better looks and better education than they will ever have in a lifetime to the point that they will overcompensate by acting haughtier- and holier-than- thou to minorities.

Fourthly, you assume mistakenly that I hate white women, presumably because I dislike the Madame Butterfly scenario. There could be nothing further from the truth. What I dislike is not white women, but the Western world's elevation of white women over ethnic minority women and certain white women who take advantage of this situation: you know, the ones who think they are superior to Asians and deserve more in every which way. The ones who think that they are too good for minority men. The ones who support affirmative action for white women but not for minorities. (These women exist everywhere--in academia, the corporate world, and the blue collar one. Although, of course, there are many exceptions too!) And finally, yes, white men who think they can trifle with Asian women but refuse to marry them because 'it wouldn't look good for the family.' These people deserve comeuppance from Asians and other minorities!

Quite frankly, it's refreshing to read about something different from the depressing Madame Butterfly/Miss Saigon scenario where the Asian woman is used and then dumped. Life imitating art--especially white propaganda art--is not life. As Asian women, we can and should rewrite OUR script.

P.S. To Cassandra,

After reading your comments, let me repeat: I feel sorry for your kids.

<>

Cassandra, you did not rescue James. You blatantly used your sexuality and sex to get James for yourself. That's what you did and that's what you should tell your children. You have no honor and neither does James. I repeat again, James and Blondie were a couple. You were the outsider who butted in because you were hot for James. There is always a right moment to do things, and it was not right to use sex and your body to get him away from his GIRLFRIEND. Your actions do not say much about your character and morals.

And man, you keep emphasizing "ancestry." You obviously look super Chinese-Asian since you're reiterating it so much. Poor kids.

Thank you for the correction, Mai.
But back to what is totally interesting: CASSANDRA has CHINESE ancestry! My goodness, should have known! Not to be mean, but I think MOST, I didn’t say all, most Chinese-American women are like that. Here’s one true story of a Chinese girl who was mean and bitchy like Cassandra. When I first came to the US, (just turned 16) a month later I started working in a grocery store besides going to high school so I could help my parents out. I was an FOB person and even though I could speak fluent English, and I considered myself totally uncute with bad clothes at that time. Since I had NEVER worked in my entire life, I was totally nervous starting my new job. During work orientation, all the new employees went upstairs so they would be taught how to do their work. There was one Chinese girl who was there too. Let’s call her Cat. Orientation teacher mentioned the word “edible.” “You must press the “edible” button if blah-blah-blah. Filipino girl79 was confused. I had a vague notion as to what “edible” meant. My confusion showed and the orientation teacher explained what it meant. That darned evil Chinese girl began laughing out loud at my ignorance! One of the other workers had to poke her for being so tactless and rude! If she has to laugh, please don’t do it so openly. How rude!
Then, there was this really cute, blonde white guy who befriended me, let’s call him Ken. He also worked in that same place. We kept going together, eating breaks, etc. The fact that I was TOTALLY FOB, didn’t faze him and he kept asking me out to the movies. I kept on refusing. Why? I have never ever been on a date before, plus he was of a different nationality. The whole notion of dating was scary and I didn't want to be doing "stuff" since I thought at that time, that was the "American" culture. So I kept on refusing. But we continued to eat together during work breaks. At first I thought it was my imagination but Chinese girl kept staring at us wherever we went. I thought I was paranoid. I was wrong. Next encounter with Chinese girl was when I was outside waiting for my Dad to pick me up. Ken was right beside me, talking. We were both done with work. Suddenly, vroom vroom, here comes Chinese girl with her car. HI KEN!!! Chinese girl’s eyes were all over Ken. Filipina Girl79 was a fly in the wall. DO YOU WANT A RIDE HOME? Chinese girl still does not acknowledge my presence. I have to give it to Ken, he did look back at me asking permission. I said, sure, it’s okay. And then off they went driving into the sunset, never once acknowledging me. How rude!!! Finally, one day, I slowly stopped talking to Ken on the phone. After refusing his offer so many times to go out on a movie I had finally decided that if he called again, I was going to say yes.
One day, another white dude offers me a ride home from work. THEN I learn from this 2nd white dude that Ken was GOING OUT WITH CHINESE GIRL! I was shocked! I wouldn’t mind if it was any other girl, but CHINESE GIRL! Suddenly, 2nd white dude also asked me out on a dude, and you know what my response was? SURE!!! I thought to myself, here I was afraid to go out on dates and look what happened? 2nd white dude knew that I had never gone out on a date before/I was old-fashioned/I might be nervous, etc. So he suggests, A DOUBLE DATE! And I’m sure you know who he suggests we double date with, right? KEN AND CHINESE GIRL! ^_^ I said to him and to myself, “LET’S GET IT ON!!!”
The double date was SOOOO funny. And once again, Chinese girl proves how rude she was. 2nd white dude had a car so we picked Ken and Chinese girl up. All through out the drive, Chinese girl had her head right smack at Ken’s lap, where his “you-know-what” is located. (Four years later, Ken admits to me that Chinese girl usually wasn’t this blatant, that a.k.a. Chinese girl was showing off) Throughout the drive Chinese girl was telling me: “So Filipina Girl79, do your parents know youre out on a date? Do they know where you are?” HOW RUDE!!! ^_^ P.S. Ken was quiet all throughout cause he was absolutely shocked and mortified that we were having this double date. (He told me this 4 years later)
Naturally this was my very very first date, so I thought, what the heck am I gonna talk about with the 2nd white dude? Ooooh, I know, why don’t we talk about we health benefits at work? Dental benefits! ^_^ So I began talking to 2nd white dude: “Isn’t it cool about our dental benefits? We can even get braces for our teeth, blah-blah-blah” 2nd white dude was totally game and was also talking animatedly about teeth. ^_^ Suddenly Chinese girl says: “Eeeewwww....! You’re talking about teeth?” HOW RUDE!!!

I can tell you of more instances about Chinese Girl but they are too numerous. (She was born in the United States) Are Ken and Chinese girl still together? Nope! Chinese girl cheated on him. I also find out that Chinese girl was the one who “chased” after Ken and asked him out. Ken and I are very very good friends and we definitely laugh about the past.

You might say, that’s what you get for being so “hard-to-get”, etc. but I really don’t think so. I have always believed that MEN should be the ones to ask WOMEN out, not the other way around. Women should show some modesty, poise and dignity, not chasing after men, blatantly showing their attributes to get they away from their girlfiends, etc. And it was obviously destiny that I didn’t end up with Ken cause I’m with my cute, wonderful and intelligent doctor- boyfriend, mwahahahahaha!!! (I just had to put that in!) who only has eyes for me! (Man I’m sure gonna get flames now, but bring it on!) ^_^

Asian Dominatrix:

Based upon Cassandra's responses on the 10th, perhaps we can call the revisitation "Monseur Grasshopper"--where the AF RESCUES the WM from the WF, leaving the WF old and bitter. Interesting to have the AF rescuing the WM for a change instead of the other way around, eh?
