Thank you, thank you, thank you for the advice and support! I met my guy's mom today and it went great! I brought her a pretty tin of danish cookies. She gave me a handmade necklace that perfectly matched my dress (coincidence or fate?). We talked using my boyfriend as a translator and it was all very nice. The very best part of it is that she and my boyfriend really seemed to enjoy each other's company, which is usually not the case according to him. And she invited me over next weekend for a real Chinese meal!
You were all so right, I really did just need to open my heart and give the woman a chance. After all, she did it for me. I think her visit might turn out to be a good thing for all of us.

You sound awfully familiar...didn't we already have this conversation a few months back?
To clarify my earlier post where I said that an Asian guy once revealed the depth of his passion to me, yet I did not cheat on my boyfriend... not to get all Bill Clintony here, but it really depends on how you define "cheating."
I had a conversation with a guy who I considered to be a friend, then he started telling me how much he really liked me. I listened to what he had to say, even though it felt like the temperature in the room had suddenly shot up about 30 degrees. Then I reminded him that I still had a boyfriend and I got myself out of there before anyone could touch anybody else. A few days later we went out to lunch and came up with a list of ways for him to meet women. And then he started dating.
I don't really consider listening to be cheating unless it's phone sex. And sometimes not even then. But that's just me.

One of the distinguishable attributes that I found, when I first began dating Black Women, is that, unlike White Women (and I've dated a few), have truly beautiful skin. I mean, whtgirls, tend to have really bad skin (texturewise), I mean, compared to mine, real bad. I can remember the first blkgirl I dated laughed at me our first time in bed because I was going on about how incredibly soft her skin was. She thought I had too much to drink. I hadn't. I was just taken over by how smooth her body was. And ever since then, every "sister" I date has been smooth like silk.

Okay, that's all the hostility I want to expend on this issue...
As for referring to myself as a little black girl with dreads, I do so because I am one. This is not the "Asian Male/ Female of No Particular Racial Identity Relationships" board. I love the way this little black girl with dreads looks walking hand in hand with her tall asian hunk with spiky hair.
And most importantly, I describe myself as such because I don't want any black woman or any asian man to sit at home and tell themselves that they can't have their dream relationship because "asian men/black women aren't attracted to me because I'm too tall/too short/too light/too dark/too small/too big/too loud/too quiet/too nice/too sexual." It's not true. This board wouldn't be here if it were true.
By the way, if I were gonna troll anyone on this board, it would be Farah... then I'D get to have a set of adorable blasian boy-girl twin babies! Your site always makes me smile, girl!
