Thank you for that wonderful post. I'm sure EVERY Asian family would love to thank you for explaining their point of view to us. Oh no...don't get up. I'll just post this everywhere for millions of people to see for you.

What the heck is an AVERAGE black woman? Let me tell you something "sister", and believe me I use that term loosely, there is no such thing as an average person. Each individual has something to bring to the table of a relationship. Education and a kiss-my-foot attitutde isn't always it. And you seem to forget that black families can have the same kind of strict rules and regulations if not more.

It seems that in this press to suck up to the man's family, you may have forgotten your own?
