Hsiao, yes men approach me but I wouldn't approach an asian man he would have to approach me. Look at the survey to the left. Alot of black women think that asian men don't find them attractive.

NY, I came to this website because an asian person made comments on it about ME. I did not come to this website hoping to land an asian man.

Also, I am not saying that people who have black in them aren't black, I was just saying that they are the ones primarily portrayed in the media now and not people with kinky hair and other typical African features. That was all I meant. I feel that when I look at pics in magazines or on tv I can't related to the female's who, while being of African decent, don't resemble people in my family or my community, the majority of whom are not biracial.

Why do you hate Japan so much? There are some great places to go to. What part are you in? The people here are friendly and kind. I don't know why you say it sucks? Maybe because you are in a complicated personal situation right now. You should stay and try to work it out with your boyfriend. You don't want to take care of this child alone do you? I have a friend who is a single mother. She has alot of pressures to deal with.

I agree w/you that we shouldn't "get back on this subject again", but I can understand where Tallmoka is coming from on what is portrayed in the media as beautiful, especially when it comes to "black" women. There's a lot to say about this but I'll try to keep it short. Historically (way back to the slave days!), white Americans have treated blacks differently depending on the lightness of their skin. There's an old saying in the black community: "If you're light, you're alright. If you're brown, stick around. If you're black, stay back." Most black people have heard this saying before. Anyway, this is where Tallmoka has a point. Typically, the white media has portrayed lighter people of other races as attractive but the darker ones as less attractive, or worse yet, they aren't shown at all!!The same is done w/the latin community. I also subscribe to Latina and Hispanic magazine. This is the uproar in the latin community...that only the lighter latins are well received in Hollywood. Also, the rule (so I've heard) for previous governmental census counts was that anyone that had at least 1/4 black blood was considered black so even nowadays, mixed blacks consider themselved black typically but they in fact, aren't black, they are mixed. And yes there's a difference in how they are treated by society! It's not right to deny half of one's heritage and I feel an injustice is done whenever anyone denies one parent's heritage. The same for Asians (Hapas especially). They are not Asian (at least not full blooded) and CERTAINLY can't be considered white like a lot of them would have you believe. They are both and should claim both, not just one. So when you wake up every morning and look at your wife as you say you do...no, you are not looking at a beautiful black woman. You are looking at a beautiful mixed woman, or better yet, just a beautiful woman! :-) ...not that it should matter anyway. If she is denying her father's heritage, it's just as bad as if she were to claim she was white.

Its ironic. BW are always bitching about the media seeing them as unfeminine. Yet, they want to be seen as a STRong BLAck WOMen. So which is it? Do you BW want to be seen as masculine toughies? Or as soft delicate flowers? Most of these BW that are sooo quick to call themselves STRong BLAck WOMen, are usually Bitchy and Butchy. I prefer my women soft,ladylike and feminine. Only a choice few BW fit this category. Most of them want to be seen as tough combative women. I am not attractive to those types whatsoever.

I am mesmerized by that singer Sade. She is so damn hot! Shes got the most kissable lips. Lauren Hill has those lips too, except Sade looks way better than her. Lauren's hair looks like a tarantula crawled up there and died.
