She won't wear her hair natural. She has some real pretty wavy hair yet she always put it in tiny little braids. I tell her how much I love her hair, and she still doesn't listen.

What is annoying about my partner?
He holds my hand in public with a tight death grip! Sometimes I feel like I'm his little girl, instead of his wife when he does that!

Whats endearing about my husband?
When we take the boat out to the lake and pick out constellations.
Or on sundays we go to the park and lay out on the grass and talk about what we see in the clouds. It might sound a bit childish, but both of us did that together when we were kids in highschool. And we still do it even now that we are married. We met when we were 16.

I hope you can mend things up with your family. Maybe your family aren't familiar with asian culture and find it to be alien. Some people are stubborn to try new things and maybe your asian boyfriend is breaking the mold. I say convince your parents to meet him. If he truly is a good person and your parents love you, they should get along.

1. "Are you saying, a Black Women can't be successful, if she was divorcing a white man, and can only be successful if she married to a white man?

2. "Are you Implying that, Asian men don't want a successful black female in their life's?

3."Are you implying that all the people on this forum are low life's, that aren't successful?,
and that successful people don't have time to have a life and post to this forum?,( because god forbid they post to a forum they wish to)

4."Are you implying that money keeps a marriage together,? and money only flows when thier is white a man/woman around this makes people sucessful? (How immature are you?)

5."Are you implying, just because my X and I are no longer are together, he is white, and I happen to run a successful business means I am no longer successful?

I have taken care of my x for, 4 yrs. I was his and still am the bread winner, of my household till this day. He did not work, I took care of him, he stayed home. My x dose not and will not hold any claims to my business, past , present or future.

This does not always bother me, but sometimes it does. We will have a meal together and it is the custom in his country to put the food on the table and everyone is to share all of it. Well sometimes I don't always want to share.
And it irritates me...especially certain times in the month.

When we are lying in bed together...
he holds me close to him and sings,"I love you more than I can say"
LOL! I know that song is a bit on the cheesey side. But when he sings it to me, it makes me feel really wonderful inside. I love him so much.
