almond,

The farther you move away from the "city," the more conservative it gets.

I'm assuming that you are living near downtown Seattle right now. How are your experiences there?

Azn,
I don't know about all women, but I love poetry and written letters. I always keep (and still have) the cards and letters given to me over the years. They are very special to me. I think it means a lot to me for someone to take the time to write a letter or poem for me, so I cherish it.

I need some advice, I have been friends with this girls for 9 years, in fact I consider her my best friend. She is such an awesome person, she is alway there for me when I need her, she makes me laugh, and she has a good heart, nd plus she is gorgeous, I have found myself thinking about her alot lately in a more serious manner than just friendship. I really want to be with her, but the only problem is that she has had a really hard time with guys, she has been used and abused emotionally, physically, and most of time she doesn't if a guy just wants to sleep her. I want to be her man, I want to be with her and only her, so how do I approach her and tell her how I feel without her thinking the worst, without her thinking that i just want to sleep her? How do I let her know, how do I tell her? Can anyone help me out, I really would appreciate it.

Azn,
Yes, I do feel all the little momentums are worth keeping. They are valued because they are tokens of affection. Even though I'm single now, I still have photos, cards, clothing, and other things that my ex gave me. I don't see a need to throw these things away just because the relationship didn't last. Of course, there are some things that will be placed in safe keeping and away from prying eyes (including my own). It's just that even though I may not want to view those things at that time, that doesn't mean I won't eventually flip through the things later (fondly taking a stroll down memory lane).

I like poetry--Emily Dickinson is my absolute favorite. She's so dark and just strange.

Oh, and I love to write letters. Well, my letters are more like novellas, because I will write a lot. My letters are usually no shorter than 8 pages, most of the time. I think it's wonderful to go to the mail box and find a hand written letter from family or friends. And yes, letter writing is become a lost art, it's on the endangered species list for forms of communication. Just about everyone uses the phone (Cell Phone, anyone?), email, and chat rooms.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Have a great week.

Okay, who has such a boring life that they have to continue to pretend to be me and post really stupid comments? Once again people... there's a troll on this forum and I don't know why, but they like posting as Cali Princess and even put my e-mail address. What have I done for you to keep doing this? I must say it's really annoying. And everytime you post as me I'm going to let everyone know you're a fake! Please get a life and make your own screen name, loser!

Hi Everyone

I've been lurking around but this insomnia is killing me so I decided I'd post.
Where I come from almost all the Asians are of Filipino descent. I find that they are pretty open to dating BW, so that's a plus. The Asians where I live are cool and laid back for the most part, and fun to be around. It's too bad that I'm in school and away most of the year.

I used to be one of those programmed BW that only looked at Black men. Now that I've grown up I find that I am very attracted to Asians and certain types of White men (usually dark haired and tall). I think Asian people in general have nice features, but I keep seeing these heard turning Asian men EVERYWHERE! I want to include them in my roster of prospective boyfriends and later on in life, husbands. A good man is a good man, ya know?

I just wish I could meet more Asian men my age that are willing to date me. I have met so many impressive ones that seemed to like me a lot. They catch my eye and smile but don't approach. I guess that's a start, right? Too bad my college is in a Black/White area. No Asians.

Anyone who knows what I mean or wants to talk, feel free to email me. I'm friendly. =)
