I am beginning to wonder why so many people may feel there is very little, to no chemistry between AM+BW? I mean, is it that rare? I mean, look at the friggin "Gain" commercial! LOL
Anyways, there is just something that I don't understand at all. I just don't get it.
I went to a rave club with my man, a good friend of ours was Dj'ing. We really had stopped going to clubs, but our friend had invited us to see him DJ. So we decided to go. We were dancing with each other all night and were holding hands etc..you know, doing the couple thing. Right? I mean, thats just how we are with each other. Well, these 3 or more girls kept boldly coming up to him and flirting and trying to get all close on him. He said to them,"No thanks. I'm dancing with my girlfriend. This IS my girlfriend." He had to say it to them a couple of hundred times. They were these giggly silly types and didn't seem to get it. I don't know if they were on 'E' or what their thing was. But it was annoying the heck out of both of us. After we left, I told a cousin of mine about it. She said that it was probably just because it was a Rave Club. But something similar happened to us once before at a college party. I don't really understand it because.. Way before I met my boyfriend..my boyfriend before him was a BM and back then we never had that problem if we went to a club or a party or wherever else. Its like people just assumed we were together or something. But now, its completely different. I think its really weird.

I think many asian men are afraid to approach black women. I think its because we are both unsure of each other. Most asian men and black women are raised to be with their own cultures. I am not saying that everyone is raised this way, I am only saying a majority. I think we intimidate each other. When people see our type of interracial couples, they wonder..."Hmm" as if to say,"That can be done? yea.Maybe so."

I've been out of town so I just saw your post. It's a shame that no one else tells you they find AM attractive. I guess you could be right that we are in the minority but honestly, I think it's just b/c some other women don't even think about it. I think that w/more AM on the big screens in leading parts, more people will begin to notice them. It will also help if more AM step out of their shyness and approach more women. I'm glad there are men like you out there and I think more BF will come around.

When I talked about kinky hair and dolphin foreheads, I wasn't saying that those features are unattractive. I don't necessarily find kinky hair attractive all the time (depends on the person), but I'm def down with black women's nicely shaped heads. So stop drinkin' Hatorade, girl! Their heads sit very gracefully on their slim bodies. Keep in mind tho, I'm more attracted to Africans from Eithopia, Eritrea, etc. They usually have the body/head types tha tI find graceful and attractive. I'm not usually attracted to African American girls if they are fat (or "thick" as some self-flatteringly call it).

Your post seemed a little strange to me, but maybe you will explain it more later. Are you intending to put your "Japaneseness" on display for others? I mean, I can't imagine cussing out the chef at a Japanese restaurant in front of other people because the food doesn't taste Japanese. But I am sure, having lived in Japan, you know why it would be strange to do that.

This sounds a little harsh, so I apologize if it comes off rude, but what I'm getting at is, in order to find a unique Japanese man, you have to be a unique African American woman. And you may want to re-evaluate your reasons for wanting a Japanese boyfriend. I think I would be angry at a guy for chosing me for remeniscence (sp) sake.

I was at a frosh party last night. I think I had some mojo going due to the number of chicks randomly talking to me or looking at me from askance. But there was this one mulatto girl with braided hair that just caught my eyes and sent my heart reeling. We talked a bit, but nothing came of it. There was another mulatto girl who lives in my apartment building checking her mailbox, and I literally stopped dead in my tracks with my mouth open in shock.. I think the secret is out, black women are fine =)
