Miss B, since when did anybody say Jackie Chan represented the ideal East Asian guy? There are actually ignorant types, I 've met them, who think Jackie Chan is the equivalent of Brad Pitt to us Azns, as if that would be the best example we could put up.
When you say that any female who prefers east Azn guys prefer the "Jackie Chan type," you're basically assuming all of us are short and goofy. Plus, Jacky Chan is 50 and he has never been known in Asia as a sex symbol...just a funny kung fu man.
You can have your preferences, but dont insult us with your implied comments.

It's funny when I come here and see the postings. Some of yall are wild as can be. Why come on here and say degrading things about the women in here. If you don't like Big girls then maybe that's your problem and keep it to yourselves. I find black woman of all shades and sizes very attractive. I'm from DC "Chocolate city", and boy are there alot of chocolate fine honies out here. I see both black bbw's and petite women that are fine as can be. It's just how they carry themselves.

I feel there is nothing wrong with discussing what physical traits we as women prefer in a man. The men do it all the time. Of course the innerself is very important as well. That is something that determines if two are right for each other. But I see nothing wrong with the females here discussing what they think is physically attractive in Asian Men. I prefer Indonesian, Cambodian, Laotian, Filipino and Burmese Men. With warmer skin tones. Oh these Men are so fine! And their cultures are so rich with spice! Some of these men take on the features of being a mixture of Chinese and Indian. Wow they are OOOOOOOHHH SOOOOO FIIIINNE!!!!!!!! That deep warm skin tones and pretty dark hair combination is gorgeous! Most of them have the prettiest smiles too! You can get lost in them! Most of them have less racial hangups with dating interacially with Black Women too. I have noticed this alot too.

I must admit I prefer a guy to be taller than myself but they don't have to be over muscular.
I must agree with Ray though, most people are concerned about physical appearance, most of the comments on this site are based on how a person looks, for example, some people are attracted to slanted eyes, or big asses and curvaceous bodies, long hair etc, there's not much comment on personalites and people being attracted to a certain way of life. Be honest if you are BF attracted to AM it's because initially there is something about how they look that makes you interested and it's the same vice versa.
I guess people never really see this type of couple on advertising and TV as much as you see other mixed race couples so not many people think that there is a mutual attraction.

Well, in Germany during the Holocaust most of the population there seemed to think murdering the Jews was ok. The world isn't right, and only the weakest of people will accept so blindly what it has to say without questioning it for themselves.
Besides, even if one has a preference for skinny women, does that give them the right to degrade anyone who doesn't fit that unrealistic body image and/or guys that are attracted to this? The ignorant, immature attitude that a woman who is skinny is better is what leads many young girls to their graves as they starve themselves through anorexia and other eating disorders. Funny thing is, even after this, they still don't have the body the media image wants to portray.
Having preferences is one thing. But thinking one has the right to insult someone else because they don't fit their standard of beauty is another.

I am really turned on by black women with colored eyes. Light hazel, and esp. green. Wow. And tight curly-fires hair. I used to know a half Greek half black girl, and she was a totally gorgeous fox. 5'11", 150 or so, green, GREEN eyes, and reddish-brown curls down to her shoulders. Man...!

I feel the same way. I am not as attracted to hapa or indian males. I think Jackie Chan is goodlooking. An asian man told me that he had his eyes surgically changed. I think he still looks nice with or without. Although, I am partial to asian men with the very slanted eyes more. I also have a preference for ones that don't chop their hair completely off. I like to be able to run my fingers through it, and watch the sunlight catch the shine. My sweety let his hair grow to his shoulders and I loved it. I saw him recently, and he chopped it off! I can't complain. I cut mine too. He said for me to let mine grow back long again, and he said he'll do the same! NO FAIR!

Hello, I am so happy that someone has finally discussed this topic. I am an African American woman who loves Asian men,and everything about them. I have dated and have been engaged to twice to two different Asian males (of course and separate times). I love the way the treat me with respect and the morals they have are incredible. I am happy with my preference. It would be nice to see more African American women and Asian men as couples like me and my fiance. I live in Va. Beach, VA and I do see some but, not alot.

I have seen some guys kinda like Russell Wong in LA and they look artificial. I prefer medium and light skin Asian guys but only the ones that have those dark slanted eyes. That is so beautiful to me. Its such a major turn on. I admit. I am not as attracted to the ones that look more Hapa. Some of them have some nice features, but I think the Asian features are what makes them look good. Keanu Reeves for example. He wouldn't be so hot without his dark hair and the shape of his eyes, its what makes him sexy to me. I have never really been attracted to Desi men, like Indian etc. Neh. They don't have as pretty features and just don't have that certain something about them the way Filipino, Corean, Viet, Chinese etc. I don't find them as sexy or as appealing. They don't have those firey sexy shaped eyes either.

I like AM who are short like me. I have never dated a guy who is over the height of 5'5inches. I also like men who are not with bulges of muscles. I know there are some AM who are big tall and muscular. I prefer the small ones that aren't so tall because I am only 5'3inches and I only weigh 109. The only thing I hate about being so small is I wish I had a bigger chest and butt. I have 4 sisters and all of them have breasts and butt. I have none. I am a rail.

I have found that azn men are attracted to me quite a bit and I am not a skinny minny. I had them tell me that they thought I was pretty and they liked my hair ( I have very curly long hair...) and I heard someone say once that azn men don't like curly hair and prefer bone straight. I think alot of people should not buy into some of these posts the men write because they are inaccurate. I have received more attention from azn men and latinos than any other.

Just telling the truth:
Yes I have a 'gut', but I had a gut at a smaller weight. I always had a 'gut,'even after lifting weights I still had a 'gut.' Most people don't see it at a smaller weight because it looks flatter when I hold it in. At a bigger weight, it's harder to hold in, which is why I am dieting now.
But anyway, this is irrelevant. Are you telling me that all men have perfect bodies? They definitely don't. Usually if they also don't have a gut too, they are scrawny and don't have muscles... I don't consider that to be the most desirable masculine trait, but if I love the guy, I can overlook that.
A man isn't any less of a man for not having muscles, so am I less of a woman or less beautiful because I have a 'gut' to suck in? Even fitting a perfect SIZE THREE I still had this. Sorry, but normal women don't look like what you see on television, even if they are petite.
With Asian guys though, I do give them credit in that at least their preference for skinnier girls is based on their own reality, since Asian women are generally smaller & skinnier then American women. But American women, and especially black women just don't have the skinny frame naturally. A black woman with a certain body structure could get down to less then 100 pounds and still have fat on her body, because of how God/nature decided to distribute her fat. If someone is going to date American women, they should accept what is typical among American physique.
But as far as telling my weight, why should I be ashamed? I have a love interest who loves me for me, so I don't care as much about weight like that. In fact, I would say I'm dieting more for myself then for him, mainly to be able to fit into my smaller clothes. But anyway, I don't think I am any less of a woman or a credible person because of how much I weigh. Only an ignorant, immature person would judge someone negatively because of their weight.
