I like TRUE Latinas and chicanas, those that have aztec or indian blood in their ancestry. To me, these are true latina's, especially Mexican American females who are the hottest looking women on the face of the planet. For example, the most beautiful woman in the whole world is the actress Marisol Nichols, who plays Victoria on the Showtime program "Ressurection Blvd." Take a look and drool:

I think we are all confusing two distinct groups. By "Latina" I think the poll means women that are of mestizo descent with Indian blood. Most likely, it means women of Mexican or Latin American descent without european blood or features. I mean, what's the point in going out with a "latina" that has blonde hair and blue eyes or looks "white?" Probably a way for insecure asian men to make their interracial choices more "acceptable" by saying they are going out with a "latina" when in fact they are white.
South America has some of the most beautiful women. Asian Men seem to carry negative sterotypes only in the US. Over here women are all over me.

Whatever race you really are, you obvioulsy favor white women and not "latinas" as you describe them. Take a good look at the tone of your posting.
You're painting stereotypes with a very broad brush and putting down latinas that don't look white (have green or blue eyes). Why don't you go to the AM/WF room. I think you would feel a lot more comfy there.
Besides, I'm sure there are plenty of nice and open-minded Japanese and Korean guys that would date a Latina regardless of what color her skin was.

A LOT of you guys are totally confused about Latinas. Let me set you straight. Women from Argentina, Venezuela, Spain & Portugal are NOT, I repeat, NOT "latinas." They don't want that name. They are elegant, of Spanish and Italian descent. Most Mexican women DO tend to be short, plump, and big nosed (just look at their ancestors, the Mayas and Aztecs). This is not a racist comment, simply the truth. Those with more "european" blood, ie. paler skin and brown, green, or blue eyes tend to be of the upper class that rules Mexico.

There is a HUGE difference between European Spanish women (i.e. women from Spain & Portugal) who are the REAL thing..and Central American women and mestizos. Most Central American "latinas" are mostly Indian, and thus are short, fat, stocky, dark-skinned, and usually hairy & ugly. Spanish women from Spain tend to be tall, pale skinned, big brown or blue eyes, and beautiful. But most European "latina" consider themselves Europeans...they don't call themselves "Latinas." Also, women from Venezuela (the world's biggest number of Miss Universes) tend to be heavily European blood.
The Truth
Here in Miami I see plenty of AM/HF HM/AF couples. Infact I see them in fairly even proportions too. I have yo say that Hispanic women are easily some of the most beautiful women on the planet. I've been living in Miami for over 2 years now and my jaw still drops and the number of absolutely gorgeous women here. However in general HF date only HM here in Miami. Maybe because most Hispanics here are Cuban and Cubans are very proud and snobby when it comes to interracial dating. You won't even see White Cubans associating with Afro-Cubans for the most part even though they come from the same country.

Lets not start any race bashing. Poon tang is poon tang regardless of race, ethnicity, politics, color, history, geography, and so on. Japanese women are beautiful, Latinas are beautiful, white women are beautiful, and so on.

Economically portugal and spain are at the very bottom of the European Union. Japan is far richer and culturally advanced than either, and Korea's GNP per capita is similar to that of portugal's according to OEDC. Asians are not as refined as the portuguese? What a joke! Portuguese and Spanish culture are usually thought of being in the backwaters of Europe (Europeans say that real Europe begins in the Pyrenees-- the mountain that separates France from Spain). These people have a lot of North African blood mixed in, not just european (not that there's anything wrong with it, it makes them look exotic in a way). I like Portuguese/spanish girls but it definitely ain't because I think the countries they come from are somehow better than Japan or Korea and look up to them. Sheesh.
I've never dated Latin girls before but have recently taken a liking to a very cute and smart Spanish girl who is unfortunately married (I found out when I asked her out). Since then I've begun to pay more attention to cute girls with Latin features -- some turned out to be from South America and some from Europe, but gosh they are pretty!!! I wonder why I didn't notice them before. I like their accents too (if they are foreign) -- very sexy! Unfortunately there aren't that many Latinas in Boston -- I wish I could hang out with one. I'm listing my email address below, and so if you are not married (ha!), why not take your chance on me. But we'll just have to be friends first, at least for a while. No, I'm not comfortable with this either but sometimes one has little other choice.

Hey lets make a distinction here... When you say in this poll that you "don't find Latinas' attitudes appealing", can you lump Latina-Americnas and Latinas from overseas in one group? I think not. The latinas in the US have been heavily influenced by the brand of mutual nastiness and mental baggage that is a result of the constant racial strife that is part of living in America. In other words, they've become hardened by society. I find that Latinas from abroad are different; they are very sweet, sensitive, demure, lady-like, and have very positivea attitudes. They are the greatest women of all. I love Latinas! I would love to date a girl from , say Brazil, or Coloumbia or something. I should travel to those places sometimes...

I'm a 27 year old Filipino-American male living in New Mexico. There are a lot of lovely latinas over here, and a lot of them are very nice. Personally, I wouldn't mind marrying a latina. Remember, we are all human beings and we all bleed the same color. We shouldn't judge people by their color or religion cause it's just wrong. Anyway, why do I like latinas? Well, I guess it's because I grew up around latinas most of my life and most of my female friends are latinas. A lot of them are smart, friendly and are very fun to hang out with. BTW, I agree with Andromeda..they sure know how to spice up the bedroom. ;)

Were you the one that described yourself as a Chinese-Male married to a Latin Woman from Spain? If so, I do agree that the Hispanic women that look like Eurasians are definetly more attractive than the ones that look a bit TOO indiginous. This is pretty much a analogous to a Eurasian girl that looks either too Asian or too White. Something in between tends to be the best.
Yup yup... white does mix well with all groups. I too have also always enjoyed being a "halfie", especially between ages 16 and 19.
Party... I can identify with that situation. As for American girls having god awful complexions, I've seen many women from the UK and other parts of Europe that also had bad complexions. But, I think that the ones from Spain and Italy tend to have better complexions... I've even heard of a place in Eastern Europe/West Asia called Kazakstan, where many people look "hapa haole". It's been called "hapa land"... I haven't been there yet, though.

Wow wee! You've dated both a 1/2 Asian and 1/2 White girl b4 and also a 1/2 Persian and 1/2 White girl. Well, I have yet to see a 1/2 Persian and 1/2 White girl in real life (I'm sure they're really beautiful just like many other mixes). I love those Asian + White mixes. There is a really Adorable Columbian woman in the Graduate Studies department of my college, but I'm afraid to even approach her, since I'm only an undergrad (a sophomore, to be exact). God, what I would do have a date with her... She is soooo adorable. I get woozy just thinking about those smoky eyes and that smooth little baby face.

Well, yes, what I meant to say was that whites tend to mix well with all groups. Sorry, I expressed myself incorrectly there. As for being a "halfie" I've always enjoyed it. It's great when nooone can "pigeon hole" you into just one race and besides, you get the best of both worlds and all the ladies' attention at a party!!!! Oh, one thing I did notice is that many white AMERICAN girls have god awful complexions, yet I didn't notice this in Europe. It's probably all that processed greasy foods Americans eat. My wife has an olive-toned complexion like Catherine Zeta Jones (But with green eyes). And as a Spaniard she carries Moorish blood and its still evident in the shape of her large eyes. I did hook up with 2 halfies before her though, one was 1/2 Asian and 1/2 white. The other was 1/2 white and part Persian. Let me tell you, buddy: GORGEOUS!

I'm glad you agree with me.
But, I somewhat disagree with the WHITE part making us attractive.
I think it has more to do with being mixed than being half white. I've seen some pretty awesome looking mixed Asians too (e.g. Filipino + Japanese for example).
I do notice that white mixes well with many things, though.
As for me, I look a little more Caucasian than Chinese (that's what most people say). But, I got most of my good looks from my mixed Chinese mother (she has a tiny bit of Filipino and Spanish too). She's quite a bit better looking than my average looking white father.
So, I can't really agree on the white part giving me the looks.
As for being 1/2 white helping you hook up with a Euro. Did you ever consider hooking up with a fellow "halfie"? I generally find "halfies" much more attractive than white/euro girls. Some white girls have awful complexions for one (can't get a nice tan), which often accompany's an accelerated aging rate.

Politically, it makes sense for AM to hook up w/ Latina females. White females date black guys, white males date Asian girls, and Asian males still don't have that interracial woman of choice. Albeit, of course, love is love but it would be nice to have that spechial bond that you see w/ other races.
As far as Latina ladies goes, I wish they were more educated, nice, friendly personalitie types out there, but we're both still circling each other. I wish more educated, hot bod, Latina girls would venture into San Fran and give the white girls a run for their money. A lot of white girls are very stuck up and tend to date the black guys. I'm not bitter but I wish I could get the chance to date one of those beautiful spanish, argentinian, brazlian, mexican, chicano, foxy ladies!
