Cortez couldn't wipe em all out
"May we add that it is not entirely impossible that Aztecs and Mayas may have had some cultural stimulus from East Asians in the distant past"
Actually, this is impossible. The Indians didn't have any contact with Asians for over tens of thousands of years, if they did, the asians would have introduced the concept of the wheel. The Indians didn't know of this until the Europeans arrived.
Caucasian, Asian, Polynesians and Amerindians once shared a common ancestor, the proto-asian ancestor, but then they all split up to form their corresponding races and didn't intermingle since that split over 40 thousand years ago.
This has been proven through mtDNA showing that American Indians', Caucasians', Asians' and Polynesians' DNA have all greatly changed since the split tens of thousands of years back and no recent admicture has been found in any. The only DNA they have in common is the ones they don't share with Africans, because these races have more in similar amongst each other than they do with Africans because of the earlier split from Africa.

"As a Filipino of Spanish descent"
Are you a Spaniard born in the Phillipines, or are you a malay with distant Spanish ancestry, i.e. a filipino mestizo?
I don't get what you mean by "Filipino of Spanish descent".
That I know of, Filipinos of Spanish descent (ie. pure spaniards born in the philippines) don't exist in the phillipines anymore, they all went back to Spain after the war. And the 1% of filipinos who are mestizos of malay/spanish blood aren't called "Filipinos of Spanish descent", because they are not pure Spaniards.

I have always been attracted to Latinas. I never had any problems relating to them. As a Filipino of Spanish descent, I found our cultures to be similar. Latin women are indeed beautiful -- quite possibly the most exotic in the world. I should know - I married one.

I have a lot of latin girlfriends who date AM, specifically Philipino men(sorry can't spell). Mexican culture & Flip culture has some similiarities like religion(Catholic) & party type families. Of all the asians races this race is the most similiar to Latino culture,IMO.
