You guys don't need to get into all this history, DNA stuff. Young Latinas in the U.S. (esp. Mexicanas) have overall good impressions of us Asian men. I guess this contrasts to a lot of white Anglo women's attitudes in my experiences. This is most probably due to what kind of stuff they hear at home from parents at a young age.
White men engrains in the minds of white females: the image of a defenseless, week, nerdy, effeminate Asian male. But, Latino parents always mention praise of Asians to their family and children. Many white men are working in competition against Asian men in the real world, so that is cause of resentment, jealousy and hatred. While, many Latinos are working for Asian bosses, so that maybe a reason of why Latinos have positive images of Asian men.
At an early age, Mexican girls are not to hate Asian men as white girls are by their parents.
I imagine it to be true

I didn't really come here to read about Asia's history or that Indian time line crap. Sorry to be cocky but if I wanted to I would of picked up a freakin book. Now WTF does all of this have to do with Asian Male/ Latina Female relationships??!??!?! Point : Can't we stay on topic?? Thanks , Sincerley

Informed and Illustrated,
Which Indians and which Asians are you talking about? By now, everyone on this forum is quite aware of the multiple ethnicities which cohabited simultaneously in both continents.
I do question the arrival of 'Asians' into the Americas but for other reasons. For example, dug up bodies on the very southern tip show signs of being older than the northern counterpart ones. This finding shows that the Bering Strait Theory is questionable. Though you can always say that the 'Asians' that came to the Americas didn't have to necesseraly cross this strait since they had the transportation means.
Your wheel and DNA argument are too simplistic and rather inmature and your generalizations of Asians and Indians into one single type of race does not strengthen your argument. Let's say that the first 'Asians' that came here didn't have the wheel yet and once they got here they never developed it...mmm that wasn't too hard.
Though I lack a science background I'm very aware of the failing results the Human Genome Project incurred. You cannot have complete faith on DNA after the unexpected low numbers of genes that were mapped out. The numbers are too low to be certain of anything (make predictions) and that's why European countries are scarred of bioengineered products. Science is not a bible either and I encourage you to do some thinking of your own.
While I do respect your comments, for they show some thinking, I question their durability and flexibility.
Take Care

"the asians would have introduced the concept of the wheel. The Indians didn't know of this until the Europeans arrived."
actually, indian people did have wheel. toy wheels for that matter. the wheel had no use in the new world because there was no readily domesticated draft animals like horse or ox so the wheel didn't matter as far some of these hunter-gatherer groups were concerned.
you also did not mention that the "mitochondria eve" theory is still source of much controversial debate in terms of human migration patterns.
not informed, but still ranting.
