WHAT YOU SAY

"Nobody in Europe practices human sacrifice. The most violent Europeans are those ideologically related to the KKK."
rare stuff,
Perhaps, nobody in Europe practices human sacrifices in modern times. But, there is no doubt that in the past, human sacrifice were the craze among pagans in Western Europe/the West.
The connection you made to the KKK is interesting, and new: the KKK represent a continuation of the West's perverse relationship with human sacrifices.

rare stuff,
That is just too weird. You should move into a college town where there will more people like you to further pursue this weirdness in a more positive manner.

AC Dropout,
regarding religion I have to improvise everything, be sparing, appear inconspicuous etc.
I've lived too long outside any Asian community. So I'm too odd, now,to get integrated ever into any community.
To go into the details: I'm heathen, don't accept any god or higher being, try to get superhuman skills and try to watch out for spirits daily and nightly. My most remarkable spiritual experience is that chastity seems to be very important for my spiritual purposes. I'm especially interested in Asian occultism because I suppose that it fits to the capabilities of my race.

Actually not in Europe..human sacrifices occurred in the southern United States and I am old enough to tell you about it...for documentation read Oscar Patterson's book...Rituals in Blood, where parts of a lynched person's body were cut off as souvenir's.

rare stuff,
So what religion do you believe in to statisfy your religious need.
Don't tell me you've joined the Fa Lun Gong society.

Aztec Warrior,
that guy "Anti-Pagan" made bad joke. Nobody in Europe practices human sacrifice. The most violent Europeans are those ideologically related to the KKK. Furthermore there are some self-designed neo-pagans (e.g. Satanists) who only claim to do so.The people are too impatient to get their emotions under control,nowadays.-What has your comment to do with "Annoyances of Asian American life"?!

Anti-Pagan, that's pretty intresting.
What kind of human-sacrifice is making a
"comeback" in Europe?

AC Dropout,
I mean the religious side of Asian culture. It is often overlooked in the technocratic society. Since the days of colonialization in Asia many cults have died out but those people whose temperaments need the ancient cultic activities tend to suffer. Think of Wayne Lo who gunned down some fellow students because he had problems with the Christianity of his parents and didn't know how to express his temperament in a religious context.
There are also people who are superficially Sinicized (like myself) and don't have that positive connection to Chinese tradition. These people have still religious needs which cannot be satified by the commonly available stuff.
I blame the upper class people because I view it as my duty not to forget that I myself am "poor". It is negative identification in contrast to those Christians who reitinerate day in day out how "beautiful" their god's creation would be etc. -I dislike the monopoly of Christian thoughts in the media and I think that this one-sidedness of the media is partly caused by the Asian upper-class people who don't support non-Christian heathen stuff for Asians.

rare stuff,
What do you mean by restoring asian culture? I didn't know it was destroyed in America. It still developing in my opinion. Do you mean reinvesting in the Mother Country like China, ROC, etc.
Elite asains...There has always been a social economic divide in Asia and in USA culture. It is nothing new. Perhaps in your location there is an influx of asians in your area and the stratification of the social group is becoming more apparent.
Most asians that immigrated here rejected communism and the classless society already.

Anti-Pagan,
I ensure you that the German and Baltic NEO-pagans are softies like you. I've lived there and can say from my own experiences that they do mix with Christians.
Don't confuse serious heathens with neo-pagans.(That both would be same is an annoying prejudice.)
