WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
jjang012,
Your post is filled with individual being effected by cultural bias of his upbring not some hockey-pockey virtues.
I submit the hypothesis that a black man will only need $25 for a basketball and can practice on a public basketball court to begin his path to excel in baskball. Not to mention a whole black culture around the sport of basketball right now that drive young black people in the USA to pursue the sport.
I then submit the hypothesis that golf like tennis is a very rich sport to get involved in. Both require a certain amount of technical training at that a black person may not have access to. Golf does not have free courses in the USA that I'm aware of. Driving ranges, Public Golf course, and putting ranges all require some money to gain access to. Not to mention the equipment for golf, even entry level equipment are 10x to 100x for the cost of entry equipment for black dominated sports in America (i.e. Basketball, Football, Track and Field).
What you precieve as some natural attribute of a race is really the cultural effect of economic discrimination.

AZNSLGR's assertation about Nomo and Ishii equaling Randy and Schilling strikeouts isn't as crazy as it first seems. The Diamondbacks' aces are much likely to get injured than the Dodger's pitchers are, and since they're pitching in a flyball field (LA) they'll have better chances to K batters. I predict about 375 Ks for both duos.
jjang012 is mistaken in his idea that the black man doesn't have precision and patience, while Asians do. Basketball is a sport dominated by blacks, and it certainly doesnt require brute strength, but rather precision in shooting, passing, dribbling, etc and patience (see Comeback, Second, Jordan, Michael). Physical abilities that you pointed out are different from VIRTUES, which are personality traits. And Personality traits aren't exclusive to races either.
Go ICHIRO!

Tiger Woods,
In the west he is purposely advertises himself as 1/2 Black.
In Asia he purposely advertises himself as 1/2 Thai.
His father in an interview about 2 years ago said this. He was driving the fact home that Tiger was non-white. And that from a media stand point they see what they wanted in different parts of the world.

Ishii is gonna kick some Major ass this year!
6-2 Southpaw wicked slider, fork, curve, along with a mid-90MPH fastball
Nomo & Ishii will match or beat RJ & Schilling's K count.

Golf is a sport that requires precision and patience, both virtues which the black man does not have. (Just look at the prison population) Only through a mixture of Asian blood did Tiger Woods gain those virtues. But his black blood does allow him to have power to swing the club well. (Just look at sports that require brute strenght) Only through the combination of the two did an athlete like Tiger Woods form.

Tiger Woods Half Black?
I have read a few articles that say Tiger's father is part Chinese and his mother is obviously asian.
Hope this helps.
