WHAT YOU SAY

For people like "Go Lakers" ...
whats so gay is when those "low spirit asian people" drag alll the other asians along with their self hate or lack of pride. So far, it's about 50/50 in america... I hope you asians support your asian sports and asian teams in world things... like olympics etc etc. If you dont like the continent, go for you selected region or country! Yeh! It's nice isnt it?! and the china soccer team is taller than the american soccer team by 5 cm!! HAHA SO GOOD. THe koreans are taller then america 1 cm too! THe turkey team is the same as america ! haahhahah!! China is just way too tall if you think of the northern regions.

On Yahoo, they had a poll of which NBA draftee was a wrong choice. Guess what? Yep. They overwhelmingly chose Yao Ming.
I just hope Yao would silence these racists once and for all.
LOL of how they highly rate Dunleavy!!!
Our Asian male image in basketball counts on you Yao!!!
slam over them, don't cry, dry your eyes

korea vs italy: korea deserved to win
because they played an even match. they were the host they deserved a break.
korea vs spain: 2 goals went into the
net but the whistle blew and the goalie stopped both times, and he probably could of stopped those balls. in the
first half every free kick went to spain. korea deserved to win.
i am not korean, but i hate it when people try to take away from korea's success.
yes they got some favorable calls but
they also took advantage of them. the
media says the officiating was excellent
against germany but horrible against
italy and spain. in the games that korea won the officiating was horrendous. coincidence, i think not.

Koreans spoilt the WC
Dumb s***, who saids? You're Asian? Must be from one of the Asian countries which didn't even qualify! Loser.
Spain played well, its all destiny.
If Brzil didn't get that last minute penaltykick against Turkey in the first game who knows maybe Brazil wouldn't of even made it to the finals.
I guess its the Koreans fault France and Argentina didn't make it past the first round?
It was Chinas first world cup, it'll do better next time. Japan did proud but as the Germans said " Japan staged the World Cup but Korea lived it."

People don't know that Yao has already competed against NBA players in the olympics, rejecting their shots like a volleyball to the other side of the arena. Besides, that's what got people's attention to him in the first place. For your info, China has the biggest players in the world with the most seven footers. If you go to upper China, not in Hong Kong and other Southern parts where typical Chinese is based upon, you will discover that seven footers are common. One NBA scout wrote that he went to upper China in a town and found 20 seven footers between the ages of 12 and 17 and later added that in America you can't even find five seven footers under that age. He wrote about a kid of the age of 12 who's already 6'11 and is predicted to grow up to 7'8. Even he himself had culture shock who did not realize til then that most tall Chinese came from the Northern side. Is it a coincidence that all the three Chinese superstars hail from the North? I think not. I have done research on this, so please if you do not agree, do some research first and you will discover that no one has really paid much attention to the Northern side because of the popular Southern parts of China like Hong Kong, to name a few, which brought you the typical Chinese.
Just an interesting fact that you might want to know to eliminate the assumption that players in the CBA are short. Besides tall Chinese players, there are also some former NBA players in the CBA. If you doubt this, well just check it out for yourself.
A fanatic of Basketball in particular, not just the NBA, but the entire world.

I am European and I wanted Korea to win the World Cup. It was great seeing Korea kick Portugal, Italy, and Spain out of the WC! Too bad they didn't do the same with the Germans.

Koreans spoilt the WC Final!
If you are a football, you should not be surprised by bad refereeing in World Cup. It has caused controversy in every tournament. The infamous Maradonna's hand of God is a classic example. In regards to Spain's disallowed goals, my take is the referee had blown the whistle before the goal was made. Spain's players ignored the whistle and played on. However, goalkeeper W J Lee heard the whistle and did not bother to stop the ball and let it go into the goal (he did that in the Italy game). Therefore, the goals should not be counted. There weren't any disallowed goals in the first place. There were no goals at all.

"I am a supporter of Korean soccer all the way...but..I have to admit...it would not be very honorable if they did too well in the World Cup this time....partially because Korea is the Co-host for the WC...so....."
This is not the right attitude we Asians need nowadays. Why can't co-host win the world cup title. I don't see anything wrong with it. France, England, Argentina, Germany and Uruguay all did it. Asians need to learn to take advantages when it's legitimate to do so. Nobody would sympathsize you when you fail to take advantages. You will be not be forgiven. Look at the Italians. They whined and ranted about the unfair referreeing, but nobody would listen to them simply b/c they had lost.

Go Lakers!
Umm... the chinese players on average are taller then the american players... hell the chinese soccer team averages 183cm and the american sooccer team averages 178 onli... Its arguable that china might not be the tallest (although i find them significantly tall) they are taller than americans in many sports... this is not arguable. It's based on team statistics. The chinese arent small. They are huge. SoOOO damn tall. It's just cantonese who are short. Koreans are soo tall also.

No offense, but it will take years for Yao Ming, Mengke Bateer, and Wang Zhizhi to score more points. They just need to adjust themselves here in America. Besides, what is the rush for the three Chinese players to become superstars? They all need some time to get used to the NBA than in China. Remember, it is not easy to play pro sports.

i am asian and i dont want Korea to win, and it's good to see Germany trashing them.
I dont care

"Go Lakers" I completely agree with that statement. Yao Ming only looks good because he has been playing against tiny players in China. You actually made one of the points I was planing to make; when I have time I'll post my thoughts. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for this asian brotha but lets's keep it real he's going to have one hell of a time making his mark in the NBA being tall does give him an advantage but it is only one of the key ingredients in becoming a well rounded player

We see the flood of Japanese players trickling into Major League Baseball these days and making it big.
In the NBA, it is now making way for Chinese players.
Some draftees scrimmaged and practiced alongside Yao Ming for sometime and claim he is no joke.
Otherwise the Rockets along others would not have been so desperate to see him workout at Chicago.
Yao is quicker than Wang and a better shooter than Bateer. But, all 3 are still young and have potential.
I think it is important for the Asian male image because basketball is seen as a masculine and macho game. People would not see Asians as weak little guys no more.
I want to see an Asian guy dunk in the NBA someday

I am Chinese by the way...
We do not need to say how well China did in the World cup...but hey..they are making progresses....
I am flattered though...China finally had a chance to play against Brazil...when will it happen again...who knows.
Looking back now...China was placed in a division with almost all strong teams...like Turkey and Brazil...

Koreans spoilt the WC Final:
Actually... Germany against Brazil... that's probably as good as it would get...for a World Cup Final.
You know what..I would like to see Argentina against Brazil...for a world cup final...but hey...Argentina didn't even make it into the final 16....so...is that Koreans' fault too..?
I am a supporter of Korean soccer all the way...but..I have to admit...it would not be very honorable if they did too well in the World Cup this time....partially because Korea is the Co-host for the WC...so.....
Hey...maybe next time...
