In accordance to that Y-Chromosome research done by stanford genetics department, northern mongoloids are derived from southern mongloids. The case being that all northern mongoloid y-chromosome haplotypes constitute as a subset in the entire spectra of southern mongoloids. Southerners are far more diverse, and therefore, are a more ancient group, hence the multifarious variences in their genetic make-up. Mutations occur over time, which means more mutations a population possess, it is then likely the more ancient that population is. In terms of overall diversity, African populations hold the most mutations, though Asian populations also possess asian-specific haplotypes found nowhere else. These obviously came about after the two populations split apart (africans and asians). Europeans developed completely seperate of the Asian influence (though not excluding possible admixtures that may have absolved during history, yet these are negligible being that they're relatively miniscule).

J Lee:
So you are saying that southern Chinese original had double eyelids, but Northern Chinese with single eyelids came down and intermingled with them?
My HS biology teacher talked about this before. She said that northerners have single eyelids to protect them from the cold. Southerners have double. My mom is Toisanese, but looks Filipino.
"Hainan Island is to Northeastern Chinese what Florida is to New Englanders."
Well, maybe geographically speaking, but its not nearly as accessible for people to travel in China as it is in the States.

North Vietnam was an integral part of China for centuries. In Qin Zhi Huang Di (The First Emperor)'s time (221-206 B.C.), it was part of Xian Jun (Elephant Commanderate), one of thirty-six such administrative divisions in the first unified empire under the First Emperor.
This had come about after 551 years of feudalistic rule (772-221 B.C.) which itself is divided into the Spring Autumn and the Warring States Periods. Qin was actually non-feudalistic, according to the criteria of today’s sociologists. In any case, The de facto administration of Vietnam under Chinese rule continued for a thousand years after Qin Zhi Huang Di.
South Vietnam, on the other hand, was mostly part of the Cambodian territory (called Kampuchea). In the second millenium it was at various times separated from the mainland and the central government in China was not able to regain control over it due to the difficult mountainous terrain and the tropical forests of the territory. In other words, China had her 'Vietnam War' long before the U.S.
You have to know this to understand that even at the time China (named after Chin, of which the First Emperor was originally the King) was first unified as one country, Vietnam was part of the whole setup. So the Vietnamese have a much longer relationship with the Chinese than you might imagine. In finance terminology, it's like an early partner who has been present during an IPO (Initial Public Offering).
Now why is this important, you might ask. The reason is that during the times when Vietnam was separated from China, it still retained its cultural identity with China, and used the same ideographic Han characters in writing until late Nineteenth Century, when France came to colonize the area called Indochina, which included Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The French tried to cut off the strong cultural identity the Vietnamese felt towards the Chinese by substituting their own phonetic system into the Vietnamese language after 1885.

To, the traveller;
No one appreciates your spam. I need a link to that page to see it for myself. Like i said, even if i did wrote it what does it tell you? That i'm crazy? And if that's true wouldn't it be funny that you lost in a debate to a crazy person? LOL...
You can think what you want, i don't need someone who claims to be a doctor and can't even prove one fact to assure me if i'm right or wrong. Why would i need someone that useless to help me? If you don't know what i'm talking about go back a few pages where you said you were leaving and read all my posts towards you. One of them has a listing, which lists all the major flaws in ideology from you on the viet debate. THEY ARE ALL VALID.
Think of it this way, if you want to then sure. IF I AM CRAZY, then the crazy kid just revealed 10 flaws from you, made you speechless, and crushed all the points you brought up so far. LOL, the chen dynasty one and the origin of nguyen one was the funniest!
Like i said, if you have nothing to say that is revelent to the debate then just leave. I don't want to know that you have a sixth toe. DEBATE already, or say something that can actually contribute to the discussion already.

To, J Lee;
Yeah, i'm pretty sure i have sinodonts. I'm pretty sure my dad doesn't (i just looked at his teeth, i didn't stick my hands in there, that's sick). My uncle doesn't have it too, he's full muong. My mom does though.
I was just wondering, but which is more dominant? If i married for example someone who has sundadonts and i have sinodonts. What would my kids end up with? Or is it a 50/50 chance?

LOL, sure, wtf...
THAT'S NOT EVEN ME! But whatever...
Oh, and the two posts aren't even grammatically similar. Like i said if you're curious then ask the admin.
Get a life by the way... Try to see that it's very easy to mimic someone's writing on these boards. I'm sure more then just me experienced this. That's why i prefer to have something like registered nicks with passwords so no one can copy your signature...
LOL, i bet it's the traveller... GET A LIFE...
