I have super frizzy damage hair as a result of bleaching and dying my hair many times. Do you girls know a solution or some sort of product that could make my hair more manageable and shiny? ghosh, my hair if I don't condition or use any product on it, it looks like a bush,

Okie, so this is my experience with blonde hair.

My hair were realy dark and thick, when I first bleach it, it took an hour, and still it was still too bright, so I bleach it a second day for an hour, and it still lood bad to me, after that I try to tone it down using a purple/green base haircolor, though in the end I hated my hair, cause it doens't look shiny anymore, though my boyfriend says it look fine, I know he didn't like it.

anyway, after all these hair dying, I dye my hair back to black and I think I look better that way, I look more asianese like, cause when I dye my hair blonde I tend to look like american or hispanic, well because my face isn't super oriental, I look sorta mix, and my skin tone didn't look good on the hair. Though the reason why I did it was because I've seen some asian who did it with a pale blonde and it look good. unfortunately, my hair is too thick and the bleach doesn't take away all the color , and if i try to do it, then it would damage my hair too much. all well, I hope I will never get the impluse to bleach my hair again, cause it didn't work for me.

Does anyone here use glosser on their hair, or anything to make your hair look silky and shiny?

After seeing so many Asians who went blonde, I do agree with that part where they have unflattering yellow hair because they either never went past yellow/gold stage or hardly used any toner, which will make a big difference 'cause it will tones down yellow/gold or yellow/red hair into beautiful shade of 'natural-looking' blonde and high percentage of Asians have olive skin, light or dark, so any yellows are never flattering! After taking a plunge myself, I love being a pale blonde now. I have long, platinum blonde hair. It's not even frizzy, fried or any hint of orange, red or lemon yellow.

As for trying to be like 'white', I am obviously Asian and there's no way I can change the way I am ever. I don't understand why if some natural blondes or any other color besides natural brown or black hair dye their hair red, brown, or black, and it doesn't mean they're not trying to be 'asian or hispanic' because Asians and Latinos have natural black or black/brown hair? Think of Mandy Moore, who is naturally dirty blonde, dyes her hair a dark brown shade! This logic applies to Asian women as well for those who do dye their hair in all shades of colors from brown, red, blonde to whatever color.

Anyway, I'm just saying that if you don't want to dye your hair ever, then that's fine. No big deal! After all, it's your own hair. To me, it's just hair and having fun with colors.

I don't think all Asian girls with blond hair are trying to be white, but I still haven't seen one Asian person (male or female) who looks good with blond hair. And this includes the Asian pop stars, whom you KNOW spent a lot of money on their bleach!

The fact is, a lot of WHITE people don't look good with blond hair. Think back to how awful Julia Roberts looked a few years back when she was dating Keifer Sutherland and she was blond. Yech!

You really need to have a certain skin tone to carry blond hair, and most Asian people don't have the kind of skin tone to do that.
