ME Gal18,
I'm doing fine, but still trying to figure out how to better understand woman. Don't get too carried over on your assignments. Health is more important, you always can catch up on your work. Me teasing women...nah...only teasing ME Gal18..... @)}---
Sounds like you intimidate a lot of guys with your heights...especially when you put on heels, correct.
Well, religion is always a touchy subject. Double edge sword can cut through the thinnest soul, but don't you think sometimes this sword is kind of dangerous to handle or even be near it. If God loves us, why we will be blinded by his sight, why we will be deafened by his voice, and why we will be atomized by his nearness. Is this because we
are sinned from birth by our parents. I don't disagree with the Bible, but just examine the scriptures like the Bereans (Act 17:11)
Need you to explain to me in more detail.....email me at wys100@psu.edu

Charmaine,
Sorry I thought you celebrate Hari Raya.
You don't have to celebrate it but make sure during this season you have some Malay food like satay with nasi ketumpat, kuih, ayam radang, asam laksa, and etc.

Jay,
Oh stop it Jay. I wouldn't disrespect ME Gal 18 like that. She still needs to finish up with her school. We're just friends.
Actually my mom is Christian. My dad is an atheist. As for me don't have one yet, but I'm kind of doing some homework on the New Testament, probably ME Gal 18 can tutor me on that. How about you? My dad's parents passed away before he met my mom and her parents didn't have any dis-agreement on the religion.

Spelling:

Is it "hapa" or "happa"?

Just curious

Children of mixed race and how they look. I'm probably not contributing new to this discussion, but here's an observation.

My best friend in high school was also hapa (of course, I hadn't heard of the term at the time). Her mom was Korean, and her dad was black - not African America, but Aborigional (I have not idea how that's spelled, native Australian). Anyhow, there were six kids in the family (ouch!): one looked mostly black, one looked mostly Korean, and the other four looked mixes (Tiger Woods / Tyson Beckford, I think that's his name). The bottom line it all depends, and since I'm not a geneticist I'm not sure what it depends on.

MEGal18,

ASAP = as soon as possible

If I'm not mistaken, Karen's parents are not "both" exactly half Asian and half Anglo.

Do you remember their mixtures?

Karen Mok looks more Chinese/Asian than most hapas I've seen, but she doesn't look full Chinese either.

[I've never seen that personally--Two Hapas who marry and end up having a totally Asian or totally White looking baby!]

Me neither!

[Have you? That would be veeeeeeeeeerrrrry amusing if you ask me, VEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRY amusing.]

Yes, it would be amusing!
I wouldn't want that to happen to me, though. Having a totally Asian or totally White baby w/ a hapa girl would defy all logic and freak me out!

Karen Mok,the Hong Kong actress is Eurasian. Both her parents are Eurasians. But she looks more Asian to me and doesn't look Caucasian

To Jay,
what does ASAP means?
Malaysian-Eurasian Gal18    Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at 02:14:47 (PST)
[Still, it would be amusing to see a Hapa mama and Hapa daddy with a cute little White boy! HEE HEE HEE!!!]

Oh yeah, did I mention that I don't really find White kids cute? I don't usually take much notice. I feel the same way about Chinese kids.
The kids I take notice of/find cute are mulatto (half Black and half White), EurAsian/hapa, and some of those hapa-looking Venezuelan kids.

Jay... give me a piece of Halle Berry too!    Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at 22:49:50 (PST)
Taesam Wilson,

The reasoning you're using only deals w/ simple plants and other less complex organisms with smaller genomes.
Hapa mom + hapa dad = hapa-looking kid in almost all cases.

macam my hapa brothers and sisters, i believe there should be an official race called hapa. and thats all from me today.
