yes, people do look at me over and over like there's a piece of bugger stucked on my face. I get most stares from caucasian and hispanic folks. However, asians didn't seem to care much, but as i start speaking chinese or malaysian, they're baffled.

please, just stop with ur "100% asian rules" talk ok? u crossed the line between opinion and insult. u say u have respect 4 hapa ppl, but u obviously do NOT. u just said that male hapas are all big-nosed and have "ugly" eyes. u generalize and criticize and then u say u respect them. u majorly insulted short ppl. ppl with short legs can be very "HOT". u r so superficial and nonsensical. don't go around bashing malaysian hapa, because u r far FAR worse. i happily await ur response!

PS. i don't care that ur a 100% asian girl who made varsity ur freshman year, and i highly doubt that anyone else does either!

some korean beauties are fake. My Chinese girls are naturally pretty. westerners need to see more zhang ziyi, not the skanky faced lucy liu or lisa ling. chinese women are sooo beautiful!!!!!! athena chu, faye wong, kristy uang, gigi lai, loretta lee, Vivian Hsu are Gorgeous!!!!!

hm...chinese in singapore are not that ethnocentric. in fact, a lot of Singapore MTV VJs are from thailand, indonesia, philippines. all of them are hapas.

hm..what you said is pretty true. In Southeasty Asia, I've heard a huge number of actors and singers are hapas. But that's just Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand... A hapa may be adored in Malaysia but it doesn't make him superior or more attractive than pure asians. If he goes to other places things will be different.

the most popular stars in East Asia are full asians. Most chinese, japanese, koreans find them gorgeous. I"m a beautiful asian girl I believe and I'm so proud of that.

hm...i admit it i have a thing for asian guys. A perfect looking guy must have tanned skin, one eyelid (double eyelid is OK), broad jaw or somewhat round face, and tall. Well I like a guy w/ brilliant one eyelid eyes.That makes them look so intelligent and lovely!!! Dark eyebrows are attractive too. Some hapa guys look good but in general they're no better looking than asian guys. hey a lot of chinese guys are tall and handsome. and they're modest, not like some white or hapa hunks who believe themselves to be beautiful.

A lot of koreans do have surgery, but only a few had major things done. most of them had minor surgery, such as nose, eyes,esp. the eyes. but even if they didn't change their eyes, I BELIEVE they would still be beautiful. Single eyelid doesn't make them less beautiful. However, some didn't do any surgery. And Kim Hee Sun is among korean stars who didn't have any plastic surgery. I've seen a lot of her childhood pics and i can confirm that. As for her doing a job nose, I highly doubt that. The nose is the ugliest thing she has on her face. if she had it done, why does it look so weird? She must have a terribly bad taste.

I'm sure a lot of caucasian actors also did surgery.

No she didn't have a plastic surgery. I've seen a lot of her childhood photos and I know for sure that's only a rumor you heard.

Btw, LOTS of WESTERN actors and singers had done plastic surgery too. Probably MORE than koreans do.

Yeah, I already knew that you were of the Chinese hapa haole variety but I'm curious as to what Chinese dialect your mother (?) speaks. Was she born in Hong Kong, Canton, Taiwan, etc? How much Chinese can you speak?

[do u hapa ppl get weird stares or people gawking or asking u questions when they see u with ur parents? what r some typical responses? for me, it's the asian people who fawn over me more and stare.]

I used to get "stink eye" from some Asians (esp. Koreans, Vietnamese, and Filipinos) or Polynesians (esp. Samoans) when I was younger. Especially when I was skinnier. I tend to look a bit more haole the skinnier I am. But yeah, I do get alot of stares from people of all races/mixes, some groups more than others. The thing that really gets me is when a hapa girl stares at me... it's like one of a longing to be together or something. It's really quite profound! An 'unsaid connection'...

I am very puzzled by your posts.
From my experience and many other hapa dudes I've known, a large majority of Asian girls very often find us especially attractive. This seems to hold true in Malaysia, Hawaii, many parts of the mainland U.S. Pretty much everywhere!

Male hapas are generally short???
