WHAT YOU SAY

Hey AC Dropout
I don't think you had the right to tell Asian Aussie to get extensive counselling. You don't even know her well enough to judge her. By the way what are the goals to be achieved?? You think that people want to get double eyelid surgery to get more dates? I think the girls that you knew who got the eyelid surgery but didn't look natural probrably didn't go to an experienced surgeon.
For myself I am a happily married woman and never had any problems getting dates. I am getting the eyelid surgery to enhance my eyes. It is not to build confidence or whatever. Personally, it's so i don't have to put on my eyemakeup everyday to camoflague my tired looking eyes. The eyelid surgery will remove puffiness too, that's the reason why alot of non asians get eyelid and bag surgery too..to beautiful their eyes and look less tired. Asians doing eyelid surgery is to beautify their eyes too and to look more awake.
I don't mean to be rude to you AC Dropout, I know that it is possible that there are many people who have body dysmorphic disorder and don't ever get satisfied with themselves and keep seeking plastic surgery to fix themselves. But Asian Aussie just said she was interested in the surgery and did seem very sane to me. I thought that it was very rude that you told her to seek extensive counselling before she goes for her surgery.

Why are people so upset by asians getting eyelid surgery? There are many asians with and without double eyelids. Just because an asian person wants to enhance their eyes, people get upset. Nobody gets upset when a caucasian or european does eyelid surgery to enhance their eyes too. Doesn't mean a person born with single eyelids thinks that it's a total doom for them or a curse to have single eyelids when they want to get their eyes enhanced. It's just like when a person gets a boob job or liposuction or whatever. It is just something they want to do. It is not unattractive but i think the way my eyes are make me look tired. I have a very small crease on both eyes and if i don't get enough rest or even if i do, sometimes my upper lids look puffy and i would like to change that. I would rather look the way i feel. Looking tired makes me feel tired.

It's sad that Asian girls are willing to do this, I'm half Korean and half French-Irish, I look more Asian than White or so I'm told. I notice girls that are mixed like me and look more White than Asian. My eyes have somewhat of a lid and they are beautiful from what I've been told. This plastic surgery stuff has gone way to far, ten, twenty years from now, who's gonna be genetically real or just a plastic being with a plastic soul to match. We have to learn to love ourselves overall!
