WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
Hey Mai,
20 years from now when all our facial feautures start sagging, so will our eyelids. The eyelids do not become plastic after the surgery just because the practice is called "plastic" surgery.
I don't think it's sorry for people who pay money to do surgery for something that will make them happy. I feel sorry for people who don't make use of their one life by doing all the things they want to do. For me, one of the things i would like to do is eyelid surgery, it's not a life and death situation but since that's something that i want to do and everyone only has one life to live then i would choose to do it.
If it makes someone happy, why not? I think the goal of most people in this world is to be happy.

plastic surgery is a waste of money woman!! it's not because you're trying to look more american ...it's just sorry that your actually paying thousands of dollars when you can be buying something else like a car or other things. have any you ever spoken to ladies who had surgery 20 -30 years ago? every time i meet someone who had some surgery they never really think about upkeeping it. because really how are you all gonna look in 30 years if your whole face changes instead of your eyelids? I don't find all people who had surgery vain , some actually have it for physical problems which is ok. and breast augmentations is probably something you all should avoid anyways because gravity does take place no matter if it's fake or not(even betsey johnson had hers removed a few years ago because she has having problems with them , she only went one cup size up) .

Gloria,
I've seen the webpage of the Asian Eyelid Center in Cali. It looks great. But i rather get my surgery in Toronto where i can recuperate at my parent's home. But I would feel so at ease to get my surgery at the one in Cali because they seem so skilled. I'm sure they do hundreds of eyelid surgeries per month.
MT,
Goodluck on your nose job. My sis had her nose done before and it only took about a week to two weeks to heal. There is no scarring cause the incision is made near the nostrils. Her nose looked slightly red for months after it but eventually it went away. The redness looked more like the colour of your cheeks when you blush. It was not evident unless she told you and then you'd notice it.
My eyelid consultation is in about 3 weeks! I can't wait! And thanks for the website address.

I think I'm finally going to take the plunge and get my nose job done in a few months hopefully in Dec (after exams) so that I can have a few weeks during christmas break to heal and recover. I'm still thinking of going to Dr. Wong but I'm just getting my nose done not my eyes (I'm a university student, I can't afford any more surgeries!). Ugh! I can't stand one more day with this nose of mine. I can't wait 'till I get my surgery!!
Strawberry,
If you haven't been to this website before: www.yestheyrefake.net
it will have EVERYTHING you want to know about surgery. Plus they have a message board and you can ask questions or if you just want some support, the boards are full of people who've had blepharoplasties, rhinoplasties, etc.
This website it the complete guide to cosmetic surgery.

Hey Elissa,
I'm getting my surgery in Toronto this summer. At doctor Middletons' which is in Spadina, it costs $2500 not including GST and PST. So, about $2800 canadian dollars. I think it's relatively the same price everywhere.

e-girl,
I just added a new picture of Tiger when he was a puppy on my webpage. It's the most adorable picture of him I have. Check it out if you want.

e-girl,
Thanks for your comments. Yes, Tiger is sooo adorable. He was licking his paws so much on Saturday that one of his pads became red and sore, like a layer of skin came off. He was limping when he was walking cause he was trying not to walk on the sore paw. So my husband and I put some neosporin (made for humans) on it and wrapped his paw with a gauze. He kept it on for a day and we took it off. Now he's walking back to normal and it looks like a new layer of skin grew back.
Anyway, after my surgery i will take some pics and put my results on my webpage. It will be at the end of july that i do it. So in Aug or Sept i'll put some new pics.
If you end up doing surgery on yours so that the crease is always defined then good luck to you.
