Your logic about the Bay having higher percentages of Asians than LA or NY is FLAWED, and your assumption that Asians are more sighted in the Bay is UNWARRANTED, because you never went to NY to justify your claim. And even your observation that LA have fewer Asians sprawling around is short sighted!
NY has an old Chinatown which is huge, and is considered to be the largest Chinatown in the nation. It probably takes 3 old SF Chinatowns to match its size. Around the area of NY's old Chinatown, is the famous Soho and Greenwhich Village areas which also has many well to do Asians residing in them. Now, if I would just stay in these areas for a long period of time without venturing to other areas of NY, I would bump into 100 or more people and all or almost all of them would be Asians. The same would happen if I stayed in LA's Asian Neighborhoods like Monterrey Park. So what do you mean by higher percentages of Asians in the Bay???
In addition, NY has four other Chinatowns, each I would say is the same size of SF's Old or Sunset Chinatown. What makes you think the Bay has more Asians? Well, the area is smaller and compact. Therefore, when Asians are lumped into a smaller area, you see more of them at more times unlike with the larger or more widespread areas/cities such as LA or NY, Asians are more scattered. Is that what you are trying to say???
Oh yeah, and grotesque people attract other grotesque people. I never seemed to notice that there were that many nasty people around here.
Really? I thought I was sarcastic but if you're not, it is indeed true. Even the FOBS by the Bay are uglier than ones elsewhere. I don't know why, but there is a reason for everything.

Hey, Toisai Doi! Well, I never said there are more Asians in the Bay. I said there are higher percentages. I even put a parentheses (no sheer numbers, mind you). So, in other words. If you run into 100 people a day in either NYC, LA, or the Bay, you will see more Asians in the Bay on any given day. I haven't been to NYC, but in LA, I don't see that many Asians, even in SGV.
Oh yeah, and grotesque people attract other grotesque people. I never seemed to notice that there were that many nasty people around here.

You are just mad because you are too ugly to get a good looking girl in the S.F. area..Or maybe one too many S.F. girls have shot you down!! Movie stars are made in California...All the good looking asians flock over here. S.F./Bay Area is fast becoming the next Hollywood because all the big shot movie companies are running out of room in Los Angeles and have to set up studios here.

The nation's ugliest and grotesque looking Asians are found in the Bay Area especially SF. Quantity doesn mean Quality!
The Bay has more Asians than NYC and LA? Please provide the stats and comparisions. Have you been to these places to substantiate your claim?
One last thing, do you see an association between materialism of the SF Asians and the Nordstrom Mall? I certainly do and it is so pathetic!

Other than Hawaii, the Bay has the highest percentage of Asians in the nation. Yes, more than NYC, more than LA (not sheer numbers, mind you). How can you not find girls when they are everywhere around you? Don't blame your patheticity on the quality of the product.

Not hatin' on SF and On the West Coast....,
I did once live in SF, and it was for 3 months in 1996. I've been back there, once turned down a dot.com offer in 1998, I realized SF wasn't liveable due to the pricey standard of living conditions. It was risky!
1)Rent in San Francisco is higher than that of New York, and there are hardly any options in SF to choose from. The fact that a bag of potato chips costs $.25 cents more and that a street phone call is $.35 cents are just evidences that SF is the more expensive city.
2) In regards to the investment bankers in NY, yes, they do make a lot of money. What about ur Tech Punks in the Valley and the rest of the bay area? Please don't tell me these folks make chump $$$. In fact, many Wall St. Moguls felt they were making less than those Tech dudes in the bay area. Thus, there was a freaking mass exodus of New Yorkers to the bay area when the tech industry was so volatile like an erupting volcano.
3)Yes, I think many white folks in the SF area are just blatantly racist and apathetic towards minorities. If they weren't, why do the Asians disdain them so much, or why do the poorer sections in SF are so underdeveloped???????? I ask YOU! The obvious signs that Asians are so preoccupied with their identity/power and image in California is a testimony of how racist the white Californians are.
NY is always revitalizing, and now that Chinatown in the downtown Manhattan area was devastated from the attacks, many whites are encouraging and helping the Chinese and other ethnic groups to revigorate Chinatown's economic slump and other areas that make the Big Apple unique.
I am not saying that whites here are angels and saviors but they seem to care more about non white people than their counterparts in the Golden State.
