"These groups (Afro-Americans, Hispanics)are a minority by the Bay Area."
Hispanics a minority? This is CALIFORNIA, remember? Mexicans are everywhere. Blacks are pretty plentiful too. There are tons of projects and ghetto areas.
Sacramento is some podunk town out in the desert. Bay Area folks always make fun of the people out there. They just seem a step slower, like they are from the country or something. The main thing is that since the Bay has the highest housing prices in the nation, the people who can't afford it, yet still want to live in the area, move up to Sacramento. So, in essence, all the dirt poor trailer trash fools move out there. The way Bay Area people see Sacramento is like how NYC people see New Jersey.
Contra Costa has tons of Asians. Cities like Richmond, Concord, Antioch, and Pittsburg have its fair share. Solano County, with Vallejo and Fairfield has quite a few as well. Marin, Napa, and Sonoma don't have that many though.
"In addition, there are many undocumented Chinese immigrants (mostly Fukienese and some South East Asian Chinese)in NY, and their population are not recorded nor added to the census!"
I doubt those are the types you want to mingle with anyways.

Toi San Jai,
Anyways, how is telling me that NYC has less numbers helping your cause? You were the one who told me that there are tons of Asian neighborhoods in NYC.
If you compare the entire Bay Area with all of its counties to NY, there way more Asians by the Bay. There are plenty of Asian neighborhoods in NY but there numbers are far less COMPARED TO THE ENTIRE BAY AREA. I am not digging myself into a grave. First of all, there are some neighborhoods in NY where Asians do not tread, they're either those upper class white sections or poorer areas dominated by blacks or latinos. These groups (Afro-Americans, Hispanics)are a minority by the Bay Area. In neighborhoods that are multi-racial, you would see at least 3 Asians out of 10 folks.
In addition, there are many undocumented Chinese immigrants (mostly Fukienese and some South East Asian Chinese)in NY, and their population are not recorded nor added to the census!
BTW, there are a lot more than just those four counties. There is also Contra Costa, Marin, Sonoma, and Solano.
I know that, but these places don't have the high percentages like SF, SC, SJ and SM...
I have been contacting some NYC and Bay Area organizations that track Asian demographics. Geesh..some of them want my $$$$ in order to get the comprehensive info...
I believe LA has more Asians than the Bay because it is twice as big. Unless they have half the percentage, there will be more in number.
Wrong! Bay Area's Asian population is up in the 1 million mark and so is LA.
Sacramento has a significant amount of Asians as well. If Sacramento was part of the Bay Area. It would definately exceed LA. Besides, with all those Bay Area counties not mentioned like CC, Marin, Sonoma...etc. adding their Asian numbers with Sacra.., Northern Cali has way more Asians than LA.
