Wan Ling Martello is executive vice president of Global eCommerce for
emerging markets.
She is responsible for defining online, digital and mobile strategies and
delivering financial results for Walmart’s emerging markets across Asia and
Latin America.
Prior to this role, Wan Ling served as executive vice president and chief
operating officer of Global eCommerce. Previously, she was senior vice
president and chief financial officer and strategy for Walmart
International. In that role, she led the finance function and helped shape
the strategic direction of Walmart’s international business.
Before coming to Walmart, Wan Ling was U.S. president of NCH Marketing
Services, Inc., a global provider of promotional management solutions for
clients that include many of the world’s largest retailers and consumer
packaged goods manufacturers.
Prior to NCH, Wan Ling spent most of her career with consumer packaged goods
companies. She was corporate controller for Borden Foods, and she spent 10
years with Kraft in diverse financial roles including audit, international
reporting, financial systems, strategic planning, and financial planning and
analysis.
She is a member and serves on the board of the Committee of 100, a member of
International Women’s Forum, and The Chicago Network. She is also a trustee
of the Museum of Chinese in America.
