Musician Peggy Gou has reshaped the electronic dance landscape by blending 90s house and trance music with modern sensibilities. This signature sound developed after moving to Berlin in 2014, creating a bridge between the city’s underground club culture and international acclaim.
Gou found breakout success in 2019 with the piano house track “Starry Night,” which solidified her status as a global tastemaker, earning certifications in the UK and Italy.
The artist reached a new peak with the 2023 release of “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” which won Best Dance Track at BBC Radio 1’s Dance Awards. The ATB-sampled single peaked at number 5 on the US Dance Chart and was featured on her 2024 debut studio album I Hear You.
The album also features the standout track “Lobster Telephone,” further showcasing her surrealist lyrical style and tech-house influence.
Gou continued her crossover success in 2025, releasing “D.A.N.C.E.” as part of the official soundtrack for the blockbuster film F1.
The 34-year-old Incheon, South Korea native has accrued a monthly Spotify listener count of 6 million and an Instagram following exceeding 4 million.
