Jeremy Lin Scores 25 to Lead Harvard Over Boston College

Harvard Sensation: Jeremy Lin is becoming the season's college basketball cinderella story.

Jeremy Lin scored 25 points and Keith Wright had 21 on Wednesday night to lead Harvard to a 74-67 victory over Boston College — the Crimson’s second straight win over BC.

Lin, who scored a career-high 30 on Sunday in a six-point loss to No. 14 Connecticut, sank 5 of 6 free throws in the final minute to help clinch the victory for Harvard (7-2).

Joe Trapani had 21 points and Corey Raji scored 11 with 11 rebounds for BC (6-3). The Eagles were coming off a victory over Miami in their Atlantic Coast Conference opener, but for the second year in a row fell to the local entry from the Ivy League.

Jeremy Lin had created a sensation three days earlier by scoring 30 points for Harvard (6-2). The Crimson came within four points in the last 10 seconds, after trailing by as many as 16 in the second half.

UConn, which led by seven points at halftime, built a 58-42 lead. But Lin, who hit 11 of his 18 shots, scored eight points in a 10-0 run that made it 58-52.

The Huskies extended the lead back to nine by hitting free throws, but a 3-pointer by Lin that banked off the glass made it 72-67 with just over 1 minute left.
