WHAT YOU SAY

Hi, Jelaous Loser:
It is really funny to learn that China is no good at sports. I suppose you are right. After all, China is only number three sports power in the world. She only earned 28 gold medals in the 2000 Olympics, that is behind US and Russia. (Germany was number three for several Olympics with about 20 golds.)
China only took all the gold medals in Ping Pong. Only most of the gold medals rounds were among Chinese, not all of them. She only took 4 out of 5 gold medals in Badminton, with only some medal rounds between Chinese. In fact, she only took all medals in Women's double, Gold, Silver, and Bronse. Not good enough. If you can organize a United World Women's Badminton Team, China can only beat easily. Not good enough.
China only took 5 out of 8 gold medals in diving. Yes, yes, I agree. That is lousy. After all, China usually wins 12 out of 13 or 13 out of 14 golds in World Champianships. In 1999, Aucland, New Zeland, China took 12 out of 13 golds in Diving World Champianship. The New Zelanders who played national anthems for the flag raising threw away the music book in the last day of competition. They said they played the Chinese National Anthem so much that all know how to play without looking at it.
Like I said, China took home 28 golds in Sydney Olympics. Korea took 10 golds, Japan took 5 golds. Check the record yourself.

What is all these talks about Japan and Korea carrying the load? What time do you have on your watch? 1965? Since 1982, China has been number one in the Asian Game. She never lost the spot since then. Sometimes, she gets 183 out of 300 Gold Medals. The rest of Asia only got 117 Gold Medals. China alone got 56.4% more gold than all other Asian nations COMBINED. 183 golds vs 117 golds. Japan and Korea usually get about 40 to 50 golds each. When it comes to sports in Asia, China is China. The rest is just the rest. The Chinese had become so good that the Koreans complain the Asian Game is really a Chinese National Game.

The biggest difference between Chinese and someone like you is Chinese openly and laudly talk about how lousy they are on the things they are weak and humbly learn from other nations.

By the way, what is the weather like in your planet?

What Korean is doing good in MLB now? This is funny. Chan Ho Park? B. (don't know the name) KIM? Who else?

To the person that says Koreans "pretty much dominates baseball", what are you talking about? The best Korean player was Chan Ho Park and now he's showing how crappy he is in a non-pitcher friendly ball park (Texas). I know pitching in Texas is a good excuse for all his losing, high ERA, and WHIP, but how can you explain Park not being the best starter on the Texas team even though he makes like $14 mil/year? Park isn't anything but an overpaid pitcher just like Darren Dreifort.

The other good Korean Byun Hyun Kim isn't anything spetacular either, the guy almost lost game seven of the World Series last year, he was lucky that Luis Gonzalez saved his behind in the bottom of the ninth. I seriously think Mantei is the best closer on the team, too bad he gets injured so much.
Calm down with this Korean propaganda    Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 20:32:13 (PDT)
"America is the sporting capital of the world. Basketball is one of the top three sports it advertises to the world (along with baseball and football). Many youths in Europe, Canada, Australia, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America are catching up. They want to be like "Mike."

Big man
Take a peek outside outside your bedroom window there is a whole world waiting for you to discover. America is not the center of the sporting world in regards to the most popular sport in
the world " soccer, futbol, football" whatever you want to call it.
Basketball isn't even the second most popular sports around the world its handball, Corean women are world class and the men are catching up.
Chinese get pummeled in boxing, Taekowndo or Judo in Asia.

Jim
You're hopeless and in real denial. when China's soccer team even score a goal IF they EVER qualify for the next world cup then you can join this discussion. China should of at least scored ONE lousy goal in three games, after all playing in Corea was sort of a home game with thousands of Chinese fans rooting for them in Corea. Chinese brought the most fans to Corea by far.

Koreans are indeed world class athletes. They are already superpowers in soccer, and they're pretty much dominating the Major Leagues. Can't say the same too much for the chinese, who don't even have that impressive of a basketball team. They get rolled over by everyone in North America.

***Come on,everyone knows how badly the Korean soccer team performed when they started playing in the very first World Cup outing.Korea had participated in numerous World Cups in the past and had only won praises and compliment in the recent 2002 World Cup. Have you heard of anyone boasting abt Korean soccer before this? Moreover, you have to remember that this is China's very FIRST participation in the World Cup.They still have a lot to catch up.And when they do,China will be an superpower in soccer just as good as the koreans & japanese.
I beg your pardon, whatever you say abt chinese basketball players, they still rank much higher than Korea's.Have you ever heard of Korean basketball players asked to play in American NBA? Nop,i guess noone is really interested in no korean to play macho basketball.
Besides,You are only talking abt soccer and boxing. Two out of so many sports in the whole wide world.Have you ever heard of Korean swimmers, track athletes, gymnasts, etc winning medals and making news, even at the Asian level? Oh, so gymnastics and diving are NOT macho enough,eh? Do you think wimps with feeble physiques could win titles and medal-winning gymnasts and divers? What abt Korean archers, badminton players and Korean ping pong players?Do you think they don't deserve to be talked abt coz they are just NOT PLAYING MACHO SPORT?
Korean soccer only rank a little higher than China.Give China a little more time. They'll be kicking ur korean asses real hard in the coming world tournaments.

And oh...congrats to Paradorn Sripachan,an Asian, who won the ATP crown. Guess what? he's Thai, NOT KOREAN.I guess here is another sport which you Koreans don't "dominate".
