What is wrong with you people? It does not really matter who does better. You don't hear Caucasians insulting each other now, do you?

No pun intended to Caucasians, but this is just an example.

When an Asian athlete does well in sports, other Asian nationals look at him as a role model while the nationality that he is a member of uses him to compare themselves on how good they are.

People, look at the big picture here. You're fighting over senseless things. Be proud of who you are and be proud of your nationality and ethnicity, but don't use it to insult other Asians and use foul language.

I have seen China send more contestants to the weight events in Olympic games more than other Asian nations (not that they are excelling in it, but this is what you call the "manly" type of sport).

Population and land size does not and should not equate gifted sports program and opportunities. For one thing, in China, there is lack of space to play sports. That is why basketball is more popular among Chinese youth than is soccer.

But, basketball still requires more brute strength than soccer.

If we take out blacks, China would probably mow down any white basketball teams there are out there. NBA is not even 5% white-Anglo no more.

Look at Germany: many of their players were black. LOL!!!

And, China lost to them by less than 20 without their best player (Wang Zhizhi) playing.

In the last Sydney Olympics,Koreans men's team won medals in sissy sports too, like archery,badminton,fencing,gymnastics.

Yes, i've seen the medal count of the koreans in the past olympics in sydney. They won gold thru events like archery,fencing,etc.It's not like the bulk of the medals theyve won were from macho events like athletics,water polo,swimming,etc.I guess koreans can only brag abt how great they are at sports,when reality is they talk and flatter too much abt themselves.tHE only asians who collected medals in the boxing events of 2000 Summer Olympics were Thais, so where were the supreme korean boxers? Korean handball teams the best in asia? hahhahah!u gotta be jokin.But, anyway, koreans here deserve a gold medal for bragging and cursing,for this they reign supreme!

I think the IPs will curb alot of the discussion that would otherwise take place. And discussions that remain will be kinda of joke with people being perhaps overly nice to each other and not saying what's on their minds.
