Can I know how to stick the eyelid tap to make it double eye line?

I think Asian lashes look much better curled because our eyelashes are SO STRAIGHT. My problem is that when I curl them, they get uncurled almost immediately. Mascara doesn't help to hold the curl. Any suggestions? Has anybody used the heated eyelash curler?

Too much eyeliner makes the eye look small and it smudges easily

I love the rocker look with the heavy black eyeliner on the inside rim but I think it is bad for eye health.
does any real person do this, or is it a look just for the runway for the 1 hour? (or whatever length of time one of those shows runs)
I just don't want any styes on my eyes!

awry-
My eyes are exactly the same as yours. My lashes barely peek out from under my eyelid so it basically looks like i have no upper eyelashes. i usually draw my eyeliner pretty thick on top but you still can't see it unless i'm half blinking. my problem is that since my liner is usually hidden under my eyelids, it tends to smear and get greasy by the end of the day.
What i found works good is Elizabeth Arden wet/dry eyeliner & brow shaper. It kind of looks like black eyeshadow but darker. It comes with a little brush that you can wet and apply it like eyeliner. i like it cause it stays put better than pencils and dries faster than liquid liner and has the same effect. i mean, it still smears by the end of the night but it's better than everything else i've tried.

ca girl:
I find that any waterproof mascara sets the curl after using an eyelash curler. My eyelashes are very straight and when I use regular mascara, it doesn't hold the curl at all.
disadvantage of using waterproof all the time: over time, it tends to dry out your eyelashes, and can make them brittle -and even break off! If you use a makeup remover for dry skin or cold cream, it can be improved.
I like the L'oreal cold cream better than Ponds because of the stand up tube--you don't have to keep dipping your fingers into the pot-just squeeze out what you need so it seems cleaner. You can follow up removal of the cold cream with either a regular makeup remover liquid on a cotton pad, or just wash your face with some regular cleanser to take off any residual oil.
also I like the Oil of Olay waterproof mascara because it doesn't dry your eyelashes as much as some other waterproof stuff. (but unfortuneately, their black is more like brown-black.)
