Northern Chinese women are more beautiful than Cantonese women?

what about the beautiful ladies in HK? Aren't most of them Cantonese?

I've always noticed that there are many gorgeous Chinese ladies in HK... much more than there are in Beijing, although it is true that many of these women originated from other areas of China (especially Shanghai).

About northeast Chinese women, I did visit Changchun, Jilin Province over one year ago, and I thought some of the women there looked quite good.

Also how do Dongbei Chinese women compare with Korean (Chaoxianzu) women?

It seems to me that Korean women are not known for their beauty in China, although they seem to have a reputation overseas.

There really are very few Dongbei Chinese here in north America (compared with Koreans), isn't that right?

It is funny that many postings want to point to Cantonese "weaknesses". That this is the case must be because there is some envy that Cantonese are successful.

I got to agree or inclined to agree that in general, dongbei pple look better on the whole than Cantonese. More often, u find the Cantonese darker, stubby, short and less defined facial feature and bone structure. And skin tone, kinda sallow.

Manchu, Mongol, and Northeast Han girls have nice skin, but their slit eyes often give them the appearance of being cold. Nice bodies though.

Xinjiang Uygur, Tajiki, women are extremely beautiful, esp. when they are not veiled. They have both Chinese and Middle East features combined into one. They have gorgeous eyes, beautiful nose and chin. I have a cousin whose mother is Mexican, and she looks like one of these girls.

Southern Chinese girls, whether from Shanghai, Suzhou or Hong Kong are fine, delicate and beautiful, but they have no chest.

I take it as you mean that the Manchurians couldn't possibly be the ugliest because there's the Cantonese. ^_^

Hey, I don't think that blacks are that much taller than anyone else in America. True, their nutrition is not the best, and the fact that they are roughly the same height as whites does indicate that they could grow taller than whites, after accounting for nutrition.

As for your observation about milk, I think that dairy products and also beef might have a definite impact on height. This is borne out by the fact that certain ethnic groups in Africa that are extremely tall subsist on diets that are heavy in milk and dairy products. I am thinking of the Masai, Ankole, Tutsi, Dinka, Neur, e.t.c. All these are cattle keeping people, and tall as hell. They dwarf the Scandinavians.

Just a thought.

I don't think that you can make a statemen like that. You seemed to have forgotten that it was the Manchurians that took over all of China and established the Qing dynasty back in history. I'm not really particularly proud of that, but according to your logic, if the ruling Manchurians were of inferiority, what are you implying about the nationalities of the people that lived under the Manchurian rule back then?? I don't feel that you are trying to say that the nationalities of the people that lived under Manchurian rule were inferior, therefore, I think you might have made a minor error in your typing when you said Machurians are inferior.

Your comment about blacks and whites in the USA is not supported by statistics. The NHANES study (1988-1994 study which included sample sizes from each race in the USA) shows that black americans are about a half an inch shorter than whites on the average. Your "noticing" that blacks are a couple inches taller than whites is sort of the same as many americans "notice" that asians are many inches shorter than everyone else....neither "notice" is supported by present statistics.

Manchurians are overall better looking than rest of the chinese. The only problem with the NE chinese is that they tend to not dress very sharply or gloom themselves properly enough. If the Manchurians have the western sense of superfacialness, then definitely they will rule the world in beauty.

Come on everyone, let's not be too subjective. This Chinese on Chinese hating has gone on long enough. Everyone has their good and bad traits, albeit small slanty eyes or big broad flat noses. And whether they are good or bad truly depends on the observer. It's good to know, and share with the public, the fact that Chinese, and all Asians are not a homogeneous multitude of look-alikes. However, need we turn this into spite? And when we claim that one feature is essentially better, then we are crossing the line and calling slander upon ourselves.

And no, the average height of Beijing men, Shandong men, Heilongjian men, is certainly not 5'11. Let's be honest here. We may have some relatives towering in the 6'6 range, and ourselves be over 6', but the truth is, that's all in the family. The majority of inhabitants of those regions are by no means 6' on average. Rather, the true height exists much closer to 5'8- 5'9. Perhaps even as low as 5'7. But certainly, at least in Asia, the inhabitants of the aforementioned regions tower above everyone else 9 times out of 10. And with better nutrition in the future, we may do that far fetched measure of 5'11 far more justice.

I'm a WF and I don't have a problem dating guys that aren't tall. I prefer a guy that's about my same height (5'7"). I have a couple of female friends over 6'-0" that are married to or dating short guys.

Just my own personal feelings. I agree that people have personal preferences about looks and personality traits, and that is pretty natural. But my husband is Cantonese and is 5'3 and I am Dutch American and 5'6. The height difference never bothered me and actually did not even occur to me until my husband kept making references about it when we were dating. It bothered my husband more because he had some inferiority thing about "being shorter than his wife". Soon, he relaxed and I resumed wearing whatever shoes I feel comfortable in. I think he is incredibly beautiful and handsome, and most of all, the greatest guy in the world. It is funny because when we first got together, all of my Asian friends kept saying to me "Your so pretty and tall, why didn't you "pick "someone taller?". I told them I did not equate height with happiness nor true love, and he is the most handsome man in the world to me. I think love towers above height in importance.

I think many of them grow up on junk foods which has lots of artifical hormones and addictives that's why so many of them are so tall as well as edgy because of all the crap they eat. If you start eating their kind of diet you'd be always on the edge and picking a fight, I would too.

You are better off eating a primarly Vegetarian/Meat diet as well as lower the fat, salt and sugar.

Skip the milk, carbs (White Bread and rice) and the processed foods because of the chemicals put in to fortify the already non-food it is.

As well as exercise at least once or twice a week, you need to have Strengthen, Stretching and Aerobic exercises. Practise Mediation and Chi-kung for your mind and spirit.

With all this and wearing your seat belt, using a condom and not smoking there is no reason why you should live a much longer life and subsequently get taller.

sure northeast CHINESE are better, but china includes many non chinese peoples, and they are eliminated as considered part of han chinese people.

THe mandarin chinese have always seen manchurians from jiaoling and heiliong jiang as REALLY ugly, short,fat, dark, stocky, harsh features etc..

I got kind of you know, when someone mentioned manchurians are pretty, than saying NE Chinese features and how NE CHINESE are better... Manchurians are more related to mongols and nomads.
