You would think that most Asian women would be more understanding but I think they're the most picky when it comes to height. The majority of them are short so it must be an inferiority complex-
which is why I don't date them. 95% of the time my height is an issue and I'd rather not deal with searching for the 5% who don't care.
If I was out looking right now, I'd have better luck finding women like 'Hannybunbun' and 'like to look 'em in the eye', which is okay by me.

I agree! I grew up with some Indian culture, so I love the culture/music and similar ones such as the Middle East. Indian, Egyptian, Turkish, Persian, or whatever-they're all beautiful. I have yet to date one though-the dark-eyed dark-haired women i've met are usually latin/native american. I wonder if they even like Asian men.

N. Chinese ,

Okay okay one last comment towards something nothing to do with height.
U stated NE chinese have thicker eyebrows ,slit eyes, eye brow ridges higher, etc... incorrect.THe men have strong eyes, the woman have beautiful refreshing eyes.also, the chinese dont have high brow ridges(I am excluding ur manchurian ppl)
And for the last time u manchurian weirdo, Please dont refer yourself as northeast "chinese"! god !! u dont even have any chinese genes u nomad.

MANCHURIANS are shorter, darker, stockier, neanderthal eyed, non-chinese whatsoever, and just plain not chinese! WHy Oh Why~~~~
Sure u said that north chinese are taller and more attractive... but those people arent ugly manchurians!

There are beatiful as well as ugly women throughout China as it is in the world. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. What is beautiful for some may not be for others.

Just look at a lot of the Korean and Japanese actors/actresses. Almost all of them got eyelid surgery. Have you noticed that these Korean/Japanese actresses who have their eyes fixed look no different from your typical Hong Kong or Cantonese girls? I noticed it. And, I know how real Korean girls should look like. At least, not the ones you see on TV. If Korean girls want to look more like the Cantonese girls on Hong Kong TV, why is that Chinese guys would lust after the Korean features among Northeastern Chinese women?

Maybe we like what we don't got?

by golly sohoh, you really work the Han Pride mojo there. I'm almost tempted to join your legion, as I'm sure many of our brethern are. And yes, it is also my personal opinion that the girls from the aforementioned regions (Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, [and maybe tianjin, I'm not quite sure]) are very good looking. The features most distinctive in those regions, when compared to others, are ones that I also find most personable and attractive (particularly facial features).

But seriously everyone, China is a nation built upon a common ideal shared by its people. The conception that is China, the nation, the people, the soul, the culture that we as Chinese embody in spirit and in our daily lives. Irregardless of whether we are an ethnic minority, we are still Chinese. We don't call it Han Guo anymore, but rather, Zhong guo. And whether we are Han, Hakka, Hokkien, Toisan, Wu, Uygur, Tibetan, Malay, Manchurian, Mongolian, Kazakh, in the end, we are still Chinese. So let us not build rifts between us and other Chinese, but rather, unify for the betterment of all people of the sovereignty. Please, let's just end these tirades. (btw, If you want a conflict, start it with non-Chinese, not with your own country men.)

By the way, just so you know a little bit more about me. I happen to be from Beijing. In your last post, you made a comment that girls from Beijing are often tall and pretty. At least that tells me that you know something that's correct. But, don't you know that many Beijing girls are of Manchurian ancestry?

I did not include heiliong jiang (manchurian people) to my north chinese observation! I said only in beijing that they are about 5'11 average for men.5'7 for females etc...

The han north east chinese ppl are much more beautiful and taller (hehe what this forum is about) Beijing chinese dress cool, but not western. You guys are sooo american style. Japanese clothes dont look western and still are cool u know?

I am a hongkong person, and most of the beauties in hk are from shanghai who live in hongkong. But there are beauties there... although beijing and shanghai have lots lots more.

SHOOT I was comparing manchurian with the ugly branch of TRUE cantonese from the western guangdong province... then...

Stop this Manchurian/Han/Cantonese/Shanghainese/Beijinese bashing, OK? The Manchus did some good deeds while ruling China. They expanded our terriority like no other dynasties before meanwhile they adopted Mandarin and Chinese culture. Yes, they (or we) screwed up when battling the European invaders, but by no means it was their fault only. Wish we could learn from our ancestors' mistakes and unite all of us together in the 21st century.

It's ironic when you say that the Manchus are not as pretty as the Beijing folks, since Beijing was originally "barbarian".

Legs and Thighs:

"Soul food" is high in fat and protein, exactly what you generally need to make one big and fat. Obviously, it's not a very healthy diet.

I don't know if Blacks are taller on average than Whites (I don't think they are). They may just have a greater variance in height and/or seen in venues where the taller ones are seen more often (such as sports), giving the impression that they are taller on average.

AM:

Actually, a high protein diet is not good for you, although it will keep you thin.

A high vegetable/fruit diet is the best, with smaller amounts of protein and carbs. Of course, needs will vary depending on lifestyle.

Hannybunbun:

Seems kinda strange that your friends would insult your BF while you're dating him. I mean, if one of my friends told me that my GF was ugly.. eesh.. it's just inapproriate I think.. (unless, my GF is a b*tch or just bad news, then certainly, friends should let you know about such things..)
