I would agree with manchu girl that the average height of beijing women is far closer to 5'4 than 5'7 or 5'8. Truth be told, that's pretty tall (5'8) for a woman. I also spent some time in the Shanghai area, and I must admit that the trend is similar. However, in regards to appearance, the most attractive girls come out at night to the malls & shopping centers. They're usually accompanied by older men, whom also tend to be wealthy or are willing to spend money on them. If you intend on actually hooking it up, I'd suggest connections per se through relatives or good friends. Either that are bring a whole lotta cash. But don't mistake them for prostitutes, they're on a different operating level. And no, don't go to the clubs, that's just for queer teens.

Yunnan has the most attractive people? I've never heard that adage before, though I wil admit it is home to a great number of minority groups.

And has anyone noticed that mainlanders are always cheap and dirty looking in America? You can instantly tell a mainland fob from a taiwanese or hong kong fob. This usually comes in the form of MAKE-UP, which our mainland sisters seem to be virtually clueless about. But that's okay...I'm sure they'll catch on with time.

Oh, and here are some stereotypes of Chinese fobs: most mainlanders are also lazy as heck. Beijing people are lazy, and most northerners are incompetent (when it comes to proficiency tasks). But that's okay, we still love 'em. Southerners are smaller, quicker witted, but weaker. I'm sorry, but you definitely do not want to make them dock workers. And one more thing: southerners are really keen at making money. It is my belief that their thrift, decorum, and flamboyant displays of wealth are probably to be attributed to coming from HK than anything else.

No , no manchurian raped my mom, but they did embrass all of china by invading us during a troubled time, making china the laughing stalk of the world. With the corrupt rule of the manchurians, we were laughed by the once inferiour in technology peoples to the west and east. They made us wear those disgusting manchu pigtails, cone shaped hats, and plain awful taste. The once heavenly chinese imperial clothing was changed into flat sheet , psychotic hairstyles, etc...With no advancement in warfare, science, metallurgy, etc , they made us backwards like the mongols and manchurians. This all occured during 1644 to 1912 ~~. With the malnutrition they caused, chinese height was no longer at it's glory( life size paintings, sculptures, models showed people around 6ft to extremities of 7ft tall (found in tomb *skeleton) 6ft was much taller than any group of people in the world, after all, average height of holland in 1800 was 5'4 for men right? THe 7ft-8ft were only mentioned in the tang dynasty and only one skeleton of a extremely tall guifei was found in her mercury filled tomb. So this is not too precise.

I have heard the hongkong media promotes the fact that koreans are very tall and lovely, during the invasion of korea celebrities. I think media has ALOT to do with how people see height.

You can also tell han from manchurian by the last names. Some of the manchurian last names are not present in han people.

Hk, Japan, Korea girls look western? I dont really think so. I think maybe korea because of their conservative fashion, but hk and japan have really crazzzy fashion. People of the west would be "what the heck?"

The average height of beijing would be higher to over 5'4 for females if they exluded manchurians and mongols.

You do need some genetics to reinforce you height growth, not just nutrition.

It isn't important to which nationality (manchurian,chinese,whatever),an individual is counted by others.An intelligent human should know his race and not care too much about nationality.
I believe that tall,long-headed Asians belong to one single warrior-race to which not only chin-shi-huang-di belonged but also the noble castes of all the tibetan and central-asian tribes.The biological heritage you can see in the face of someone correlates with his/her temper.
