"I get the feeling your Chinese is pretty good. Chinese school or home taught?"

Thanks...

Haha...actually..I learned my Chinese from the Best Chinese school a person can go to; In China!

Because ... I am a Beijing F.O.B!!!!!!!

I came to the U.S when I was 10 yrs old.
I feel that it was the perfect time for me to come here...because I was old enough where I wouldn't forget my Chinese...and I was young enough where I was soon able to speak English without a Chinese accent. I'm taking Spanish as foreign language ...4 years now. Harder than English...because...I know that my grammer is just all over the place when it comes to oral Spanish.

Dude, does it really matter how tall a person is to be good at something? As I can recall spudd webb and john stockton were little men that didn't need height to accomplish their dreams of playing in the nba. I am mixed chinese/white and I am 6'2 and totally suck at basketball. I been in the game since I was a kid. So to recant, I don't think height is a factor that will should how good a person is but what he has in his heart.

B. Lee,

again if you're suggesting eugenics, that doesn't make any sense, because typical human reproduction is on the order of 20 years, that gives only 7 or 8 generations max for europeans from two hundred years ago. forget about evolution, even selective breeding doesn't work that fast. in fact, if you look at americans from 1920-40 during the depression era, typical lack of nutrition has stunted growth in the US as well during that period. i don't know why you're obsessive with this chinese government conspiracy. no rational scientist would agree with you on this. it's just not scientifically possible.

if you're saying discrimination in the chinese government, that might be plausible, as it's the age old northern vs southern chinese mentality. but height has nothing to do with it.

chinatown,

You could predicate humor on the web for those who are not familar with your writing style. ^_^ =) would be nice in the future.

As for hieght...I usually save the penny and put them in my shoe. Did you know 10 pennies is about an inch. So for about $1 I can add 5 inches to my stature. ^_^

I believe the current Chinese import NBA player parents were also Olympic B-Ball players in China. Hence, assuming that tall people always existed in China in one form or another. It is just a matter of culmulative experience that is producing NBA quality players in China.

Not to mention the business factor of the NBA. You want to attract a more asian audience to watch the sport. The quickest way is to stick a asian face in a team.
