G.A.,
Care to elaborate on who "The Man" is?
Did I miss something?

It was a conspiracy. Bruce was murdered because he was making his debut in America. The Man knew Bruce would shoot to stardom and Bruce had a Caucasian wife. The Man feared the "yellow peril" and that he would lose "his women" to the little yellow men. Bruce and his martial art would have made the asian man desirable to all women, including the Man's. Not to mention, Bruce could not be portrayed as a foreigner since he was truly an American by birth. When they saw that Brandon was on his way to a meteoric rise in his father's footsteps, they curtailed it with an "accident" that should have never happened on any set. Most people know by now that on any movie set, it is standard stunt procedure to NEVER fire a weapon directly at the actor. The weapon is always "cheated" to the left or right of the actor by at least a few inches and the camera angle makes it appear that the weapon is pointed directly at the actor when in fact the actor is safely out of the line of fire. Why was this not practiced on the set of the Crow? That's no accident. Now the Lee name is dead. Shannon may have a son, but he won't be a Lee. Sad to say, The Man has succeeded.

To "it could be" and "AM"- you have seriously got to be kidding. Maybe Aliens kidnapped Bruce Lee, and killed him, and then the CIA covered it up because they didn't want to admit that Aliens liked Asians, and it's all a big plot against you! This is very schizophrenic thinking.
you're a raging nut

Bad luck is what killed Brandon Lee, and bad choices--on his part--killed Bruce Lee. The guy was "the" master at his craft, but he forgot to take care of himself in the process. He put his body through hell, and I'm not talking about martial arts here. His lifestyle killed him. So forget the conspiracy theories, because there weren't any.

Bruce Lee was probably the unknown gunman at the grassy knowl. He killed JFK because he wanted Ms. Monroe at the time.
I'm sure Bruce Lee is also connected to Elvis somehow...but I ran out of time with my first free pyschic reading, so I guess we will never know.
AM,
How did Brandon die mysteriously. He caught a bullet in the chest. Not much of a mystery there if you ask me.
Lou Dejavou,
If you study Kendo, you should be able to slice a human body in two. What is the point of studying martial arts if you don't get to use a blade.
All good practitioners of a martial art knows not only the limitation of their technique, but also themselves. Good fighters will spend the initial moments of a conflict assessing their opponent. Brawlers just jump right in.
So if you know your opponent is good at grappling techiques and you are only good at striking techniques. The point is to come up with a strategy to beat your opponent. If you don't, well you do Kung Fu tradition for going into the woods, practicing for 5 years to learn the super secret techique to defeat your oppenent and whop his a** in a final show down. Don't forget to break their school plaque over you knee when your done. This will continue the cycle of constant improvement for all parties involved.

"I think that the US gov't killed Bruce Lee for fear that people would open up to the Asians. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean I'm wrong."
funniest thing i've ever heard

Bruce Lee could have lived much longer than he did -if he would have practiced Tai Ji to calm down.Sure,he could deal with alot of the power within himself,
but he had something like a psychological problem that caused his severe headaches. Thus,it ended up with Bruce Lee dying of a bleeding inside of his brain. Ironically Bruce's father trained Tai Ji and was calmer than Bruce.
rare stuff

It could be.

Taekwondo because it combines Hapkido (grappling techniques) with kicking, punching, blocking.
Most fighting Americans seem to use their weight and force the other guy down, sit on him, and bash is head in. What good is any martial art, without escape and grappling techniques, I don't know.

Isn't weird how Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee both died mysteriously? Could it be somekind of conspiracy against the Asian man? Did the white man have something to do with it?

"It's amazing how flippantly you say that Sakurai "got his ass kicked", without caring that UFC and Shooto have different rules."
Yeah, but when you compete under certain circumstances, you have to adjust to the rules. If I fight someone at a park one day with no weapons, and win, but the next day, I fight someone else in an alley, and he has a baseball bat, and I get whooped, I can't whine because he has an unfair advantage. A true fighter must adapt to his surroundings.
It was painfully obvious that Sakurai didn't like that cage, and Hughes took full advantage of it, pressing him up on it as much as possible.
"But Mat Hughes is also a badass with undefeated record."
He was pretty much unproven before beating Sakurai. The "powerbomb" win against Newton was a fluke, and no one gave him much of a chance to defend his title. Now, everyone knows he's the real deal. This sets up an epic rematch with Newton. That's going to be a good one
