Height has never been an issue for me. It's not a big deal at all. If a girl is really interested in you, height should not be an issue. I've danced and dated guys shorter than me, because it's not about his height, but about his personality. Besides, there are advantages to being with a guy that's the same height or shorter. Hello all, I would just like to encourage all BF who have come to this forum to know that there are plenty of AM/BW marriages and relationships that are as strong any other unions. Ladies, don't just go after any AM. If he won't give you the time of day, forget about him and go to the next Asian Bro. who shows interest. Remember that relationships shouldn't be built on what he looks like or his body (even though there are some that make you tingle...;)wink!wink! If you ladies are for sure that you want to spend the rest of your lives with an AM, then go for it. Even if you are" testing out the goods" before deciding, just know that AM are as sensitive as the other men. And if you come to discover that he has a "turtleneck" tucked away, don't worry love him and his extras as well.

To Brahnda, just be yourself honey, men will like you for who you are and NOT the person your pretending to be. Always be real and carry yourself like a young woman should.

Eric, if you are an AM then 5'6 would be a perfect height for an AM. I see alot of AM that are 5'4 and under and that would be akward for someone that short to weigh 155lb.(even if it is all muscle).

I would love to know what natives to Papua New Guinea in the U.S. consider themselves. I personally consider myself to Black American because my family has been here so long. They arrived prior to the end of slavery but existed and free Blacks. They had only two choices in those times assimilate or die. There was not the assortment of classification choices for my family when they came. To small town White folks they look like n_---s so that what they were treated like for the most part. My family is dark in complexion, with small features and silky like hair, some wavy, some straight, some nappy.

Anthopologically, I believe there may be a debate based on skull structure. Most are categorized as Negroid but some as Asian. I believe in depends on what part of the island one is from. There are are least 800 distinctly differennt groups.

It's nice to know that there are more of us in the country. It sounds like I need to visit the West coast. Thanks for encouragement.

I just want to make this clear. I did not post my fears to advertise myself as available.

I've been really surprised with warm and wise words of assurance that ignorance is not all that exists out there. It's really nice to be assured that Asian men and women are on this site that a enlightened and sensitive to the sincere interests of Black women.

I agree with you about that guy nubian.
How can someone want to be with an AM, yet don't like mixed people? Unless he plans to adopt a pure blood black child.
But then again, that would be difficult to find, with America's history. So maybe he would have to adopt one from Africa or something.
Thats the only way she can prevent mixing. He makes no sense at all.

your story doesn't make sense. if this black woman was so fat and so large then her vietnamese boyfriend would have seen her big ass staring at him through the window. also, vietnamese wouldn't run their business like that with their personal stuff open for everyone to hear.it would hurt business and they would lose money.
