You need to do more observing and less assuming. I am very sure you haven't been to each and every state in the US. I guarrantee that. I am also very sure that you do not know thousands and thousands of african americans who live on the face of this earth. So. More observing, and maybe a little less of your little scientific assumptions. That is, if you are really even interested in Black Women

I think you are trying to say one thing /which could be interpreted in a negative way. But, I think I see what your getting at. You are saying you prefer intelligent, well spoken,classy BW. BW with these traits are not always middle class/highclassed in the financial social structure. I know this for a definite fact. You still have a lot of growing to do. You still haven't met enough BW in your lifetime to come to these conclusions yet. You have maybe met 5 or so. I am sure of that. Now you think you have it all estimated. Meet more BW. Learn more. Grow more. Then come to these big conclusions after you have truly grown.

I'll supplement my story. Perhaps I can alleviate the tension. I romanced her that night, we talked for hours before we went out, the AF I was with was my "company" meaning my homegirl, I recited poetry to the BF, brought her flowers, opened her doors, paid for everything, conversations were about our dreams, our interests, our hopes, our fears, and that we are college educated and aspiring people. Not a mention of sex. Ever have one of those nights when everything went smooth?

It's an unwritten rule for men, if she's like that with me, she's probably like that with some other men too. She put herself in the hole.

Interesting comments. There's no need for name calling. It wasn't my intent to stir up the wasp nest. You are just "lowering yourself to my level." Am I a beast and heartless? Of course not.

Let me get one thing across, perhaps create a bridge of understanding, empathy if you will. According to this poll site, most relations are based on 'gasp' physical appearance. So there you have it, we are shallow visual beings. Numbers don't lie. Do BF want AM for our minds and education, nope, its purely on how we look. How cheap and quite revealing. True for AM too, but the numbers are more uniform. So you want to have a baby with Asian features, I heard that one a lot. It's all looks. I just happen to fit right into the poll for AM. So is every AM just as "bad" as me. Hope not. Me and a BF just acted on it, not just looked and wondered, simple.

Enlightened BF. Insecure, look at the numbers on this poll 78% of BF feel AM won't find them attractive. 67% for AM, and I'm not one of them. That's insecure. Do you have any more deep insight?

The only reason I can think of right now as to why my post recieved so much negativity, is that some BF here can relate to it. Ever thought he was the one, ever had your heartbroken, ever been played for a fool? Ever been swept off your feet, but in the end it wasn't worth it? Any regrets?

If all men are dogs, then all women are hos. Agree, disagree?

I won't be posting for a while everyone. I'm moving to a new apartment. In fact, I'm going to clean everything and turn everything off tomorrow. I can't move in right away, so I'm going to get everything together, stay with my folks and take a little vacation before I can move in. I hate moving. It can be such a pain, but hey, I'm getting a housemate (I love living alone, but I really want some company for the last few months of my college career here--when I go for my masters, I'm sure I'll be screaming a different tune). Another thing is that it'll be bigger and that's definitely a plus. Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know I won't be on for a while, so if anyone post using my name, then it wasn't me (as I won't be posting for a few weeks). You'll know when I get back, I'm sure of it. Later

Hi Everyone,
I'm going on vacation, so I won't be posting for a while. Why am I telling you this? Because if anyone makes a post after May 22, then it is not me, as I won't be near a computer (in fact, I probably won't post after today) until the first week of June. I really hate that, b/c I'm hooked on the internet and coming to this site. Oh well, Washington D.C. will keep me very busy, so I won't have time to miss the internet. I've heard of narrowmindedness, but NOYA and Asian Machiavelli really take the cake. I don't like it when people talk against AMBF relationships.

My last boyriend was chinese, and I come from a middle class family. But just because some blacks are lower class doesn't mean a thing. It's making out as if people (do or don't) want to date because of status. I'd rather have a man who has heart!!

And don't talk about lower class! No one is better than anyone else. If you go to Louisville, Ky, there's a place over there called Americana Apartments. It's very diverse version of the projects. Although the city's not very diverse, you'll see a lot of asians living there with the Haitians.

Moral: no matter what race you are, every race will either be high, middle, or lower class.

As far as interracially dating asian men, if I had the chance to do it all over again I'd do it. The one thing that I have to point out it that we have a history-it's not a fad. Back in the 1860's the majority of married Chinese men have either Mulatto or Negro wives.
So if history wants to repeat itself, then we'll have to be ready for it. Plus, education is the key to bring people together. Even though it's not everywhere (yet), you do have yous ambf couples who are either dating or married.

And let me point out that the reason why black women have sucessful relationships with asian men is because they love and respect themselves. They're not desperate, and they don't have to sleep with them in order to acheive it.

It's the inside that counts, not society.
