Ok u r wrong here, i think mexico dont have that much black blood, BUT we do, and we all very proud of it, im like 99% sure that if i make an ADN examen, its going to show that i have black ancestery, it would be just normal, believe me jaja right now im hearing "tambores", thats a black venezuelan music, but all venezuelans feel like OURS.... BECAUSE IT IS!! :-), by the way when venezuelans get marry even famous and very white artist who got married in Miami with other latin people, they always put up Venezuela tambores, is so good and great.
In the past the mestizo population was the majority, but the black population was the second in importance (i would say that maybe could be like 30%, just guessing), now they were mostly really black people, but over the years, after "independencia", millions of europeans came here in different years, most latin nations experience great waves of european migrations, the last great migration was after world war II, the majority were spaniards (escaping from Franco), portuguese and italians, they all mix here, so i think a lot of venezuelan actually have black blood, even if they define themselves as of being mestizos or european, actually just like 9% of venezuelan right now have black features, and are very light.
U can see white girls who look just spanish that have a mulato "abuelo", etc etc. But still FOR ME it would be absurd that "they" should be proud of being black just because they may have some black blood. Well then we should ALL CLAIM TO BE ARABS AS WELL. Because even if spaniards hate to admit it, they are a mix with arab and a others races as well:-) well bye bye take care and sorry for any mistake.

I’m a little confused. Are you Buena Vista? If yes, I agree with everything you say, because you have accurate information due to your background and first hand knowledge of Central/South Americans and Cubans and their roots. Carlos H, if you are Buena Vista then I am sorry that I got the wrong impression of your initial post. I think you are very intelligent.
Now, Buena Vista, if you are not Carlos H than what exactly is your background? In some posts you write in exactly the same manner and style as YKB (who is a black female and speaks out of jealousy and resentment for Latinos). Why did you all of a sudden bring up this topic anyways to begin with in this dating section? The real Carlos H has said in prior posts that this dating section is not really the place to discuss this issue.
Just for your information, every post from YKB is designed to invoke a negative response from Latinos that will make Latinos look like they hate black people and are racists -which is YKB’s goal and the reason she keeps popping up under different aliases to stir up trouble. And to whoever said it, your god damn right I am a little paranoid. I am not black, not one drop –this includes all generations before me, nor am I white. Sorry YKB...I know how much you hate to hear this. I have no problems with black people just divisive idiots like you who spew nonsense trying to prove that all Latinos have black blood.
Now, Buena Vista, would you categorize yourself as black, Afro-Latin, or Latino. Just curious. Please don’t think too much and just give your first response because this will clear things up once and for all. Give a little background on yourself if you want us to take you seriously, otherwise we know you are just YKB in disguise.
And one more thing. YKB, if you read this can you please address it. YKB, Do you have any Latin blood along with your BLACK blood? Come on, be truthful.

Hi, well buena vista then sorry, but i based my idea in a great number of cubans that i meet in Miami, they didnt look like 100%, and some actually told me that they were mestizos, maybe is true what u said, come to think a bout my uncle (politico, he married my aunt) is very white, but his family is either white or mulato, thats all, well he doesnt deny black ancestery, his father is very obvious a mulato, but he looks very very white (even anglo), but the other porcion of his family deny the black blood in them.....
Buena vista and u know.... i think latins in the US are changing.... they are becoming very concious about the racial thing, even venezuelans friends that have gone to the US for living, after a time they are starting to feel very proud of having white blood, even some of them are starting to act like very ignorants and racist persons, its like the old mentality is back on, some dont admit it...... but for real something has change...Well im tired and i have things to do...... but one last thing.... The US is a very powerfull country.... all the stereotype that the US people have about asians, blacks are know by ALL LATINOAMERICANS, the thing is that some are starting to believe in them, jaja is so funny the other day i saw a racist neonazy venezuelan group...... jaja well bye bye take care.

And if u read my last comment, u can see that upper class latin tend to stick toguether, that doesnt mean that we are a close group, but lets face it, we can feel more comfortable, much better.

They are mix people too, but the european part is veryyyy strong in all of them. Go and ask a real argentino. I was wondering if there was a black population in Mexico. I asked a Mexican buddy of mine and he said that there wasn't any. But I read an article about blacks in Mexico, and it said the black population was less than 1%. Well I think its cool how Hispanics of all races can get along so well. It seems to me that there isn't so much racial tension in Latin American countries.
