This forum is just one continuous sociological bitch session! I personally don't give a damn who should or should not be considered Latina or who's darker than whom. Attractive women are attractive women. And women that want to squabble and argue are not attractive,no matter their ethnicity or race. If I wanted a history lesson, this is not the forum that I would choose. I come here to see the state of AM / LF relations, which apparently are manifested by no sexual chemistry and constant bitching.

WoW..I'm surprise there is a forum like this. I've always been attracted to Hispanic women but it seems most are "ghettoized." What is up with that? They don't seem to value education and are into thugs (losers) and get pregnant early in life.
Those are few of the reasons why I don't approach them, it seems our menalities are different with most Asian Americans. So far I stuck to dating Asian and white girls.
Maybe one day I'll find an educated, classy Hispanic bonita =)

Today in class, just met another student whose dad was Chinese and mom was Guatemalan. The little girl has striking features. She looks completely Hispanic, but the hair and eyebrow color is too jet black like Chinese. Asian guys and Latinas make fine looking babies.

You are so in denial. Most Puerto Ricans are a mixture of Indian/Spanish/black I know there are few who are pure "Spanish" or mestizos but they are a minority. Just because you named few who are not mulatto doesn't mean its true. Hispanic culture has a habit of showing white Hispanics on tv espcially as news anchors. Most of the people you mentioned are mestizos. Why do you think the Mexicans call you "Spanish speaking blacks?" Don't tell me its not true.
Anyway, you sound embarrassed of your black roots. Calling "those" people meaning Domincians as the only ones with black blood. Why is it Puerto Ricans and blacks get along so well in NYC? Give me a break!

I think the dearth of latinas on this site may have more to do with the lack of internet/computer access among the general hispanic populace...

I am half chinese and half jewish and I find hispanic girls to be gorgeous, especially the dominicanas, brasileiras, cubanas, basically mulata women. Many of the dominicanas are very assertive in contrast to the much more reserved salvadorenas y peruanas.
I also particularly like the hispanic girls who still have some asian features in their faces...its kind of like hapa girls just darker...
I've been out with a few latinas, the Fresh off the boat or rather fresh across the border kind...and unfortunately they aren't very representative of the hispanic population as the ones who cross over are generally of lower economic and educational status... which may have its advantages, i.e. they're impressed by my pathetic programming job...
However, they don't usually share my intellectual interests, and they often know very little about asian cultures or my jewish culture either.
Of course, for those intellectual latinas out there, I have a special place in my heart...
Actually, my brother who looks hispanics gets hit on very often by latinas...especially salvadorenas...

Either you didn't carefully read what I wrote, or you are just stubborn.
Do you approach each and every black looking hispanic and ask them whether or not they are Puerto Rican? I doubt it.
I am guessing you live in NYC, so do you ever watch the news? Taina Hernandez is a Spanish/Indian Puerto Rican. Linda Baquero is French Puerto Rican. Darlene Rodgriguez is white Puerto Rican, not mulatto. Again, Mayoral candidate Fernando Ferrer is white and Puerto Rican. Marc Anthony is a Native Puerto Rican and Spanish. Remember Geraldo Rivera who had a television talk show? Well he is Half Puerto Rican/half Jewish. Hector Elizondo is a white Puerto Rican. Ricky Martin is Native Puerto Rican/Spanish. Jennifer Lopez is Spanish Indian. When you say "admit it" it shows how immature you are, and why I persist in correcting you has nothing to do with you, but with my desire to educate those other people at this forum who are misinformed.
I didn't tell you there were a few white Puerto Ricans, I told you there are a lot of them, and your refusal to believe the truth is very unfortunate. And I believe the truth is very important. You don't want to walk around in ignorance believing something that is totally untrue, do you and make a total idiot of yourself?? And it is not fair to those Puerto Ricans who are white. You are shutting out the Spaniards who gave Puerto Rico its name. You talk about Puerto Ricans being black as if the blacks conquered Puerto Rico.
A little history lesson. There were more blacks brought to the Dominican Republic than Puerto Rico. Not all of the Natives in Puerto Rico were killed. They fled to the mountains and mixed with the Spanish farmers. Not many blacks were brought to Puerto Rico...this is a fact. Whether you want to believe it or not, it's your decision, but I'm through here.

You are retarded for even discussing this. I've met quite a few Puerto Ricans in recent years, a few of them "white," a few "black," and many brown. But I know that if you were to go up to any of these light-skinned folks I've met and tell them that you don't care much for black Puerto Ricans, he or she would kick your racist ass. Because in their eyes they are all Puerto Rican and they are all proud. A lesson we could all learn from them. Christ.

I'm sure there are few white Puerto ricans in NYC but vast majority are mulattos. Admitt it. I have rarely seen one among thousands. I also find your attempt to distinguish Puerto Ricans from Dominicians because they are both mulattos. At least vast majority are.
Anyway, I had never trouble attracting Hispanic women in NYC.

Your facts are wrong. I have seen dozens of white Puerto Ricans including Fernando Ferrer who is currently running for Mayor. If he has black in him, there is absolutely no evidence of it.
I grew up with plenty of Puerto Rican friends who were white, but remember, the Dominicans moved to Puerto Rico within this past decaade and there are plenty in NYC now, so perhaps you are talking about Dominicans mixed with Puerto Ricans. 99% or even 100% of Dominicans are black latinos.
I agree there are a lot of black Puerto Ricans, but there are also plenty of white ones. There are also a lot of half Puerto Ricans mixed with Irish, Italian, whatever. Remember, Puerto Ricans have been in the U.S. for several generations, so it shouldn't be hard for you to believe that they are incredibly mixed...not just mulatto.

I found this site by coincidence and will probably never see it again because it is full of hate here. All I can say is Cuban women i know have no problem dating with the Asian guys. Whoever said they did los estupidos grandes. Get a life you people.
