That's funny that Asians wouldn't be attracted to "negroid" features, since they themselves have "negroid" features.
If by "negroid" features you mean flat noses with flared nostrils and almond shaped eyes, as well as full lips.
As far as I'm concerned the only thing Asians really have in common with Whites is fair skin and straight hair. And even their hair is much coarser than Caucasian hair, even though its straight.

I once had an older Mexican AMerican girl hit on me BIGTIME. I could've had her at anytime if I wanted to. Her face wasn't attractive, but she was a cheerleader in college and had a body to die for. I regret it now.

A lot of those Puerto Rican and Dominican girls are black and they do not get attention from Asian guys who are not attracted to Negroid features.

To; I like Mexicans better
I live in NYC all my life and I just wanted to comment on what you said. I don't think Rican and Dominician girls are "Eurocentric" at all. I think they are rather more "Afrocentric'' they get along better with blacks (maybe due to their social economic level being same or maybe its because they are part black). Most of them are into the hiphop scene and there aren't really alot of chances an average "Asian" guy would get a chance to associate with them. Most are just ghetto. We just travel in different circles.
As for your "Marisa Tomei" looking Rican girls? Where are they?? hahahaha
I find most look like Rosie Perez and they all talk like her too..hahaha.

Is it you again with the moaning and groaning that East Coast Latinas are less attracted to AA men than West Coast Latinas? I remembered someone else on this post have mentioned the same issue about Caribbean Latinas not being as receptive to Asians as Mexicanas or Latinas from Central and South America.
The fact that Puerto Rican girls and Dominicanas are less receptive to Asians has nothing to do with whether they have more "European Ancestry". These groups are less assimilated and accultured than Mexicans and other Hispanics. They tend to climb the social ladder at a slower pace, and many of them rely on social programs such as welfare introduced by "Whites" and therefore have this mentality that these "Whites" are benefactors. Many of these people also envy the Asians who are outsiders like themselves but are much more successful economically and socially, so therefore they resent us or look down at us for whatever reason they have. These are the same people who complain about Jewish people particularly that in New York who generate too much $$$ (pathetic as it seems). Mexicans and Central Americans on the other hand, are much more opportunistic and many of them would associate with Asians or Jews to better themselves financially (their better work ethic is one proof of that).
Again, look at the different Hispanic groups, and you will see that more Puerto Ricans and Dominicans are less accultured, opportunistic and successful than other groups. This might be a connection why they don't associate with Asians. In addition, these groups are not as widespread as others and perhaps have a more centric (narrow) view of things.
The same applies to many Italian Americans. Overall, Italian Americans are not as successful and well educated like the Jews or even the Irish. You'll see Asian guys dating Jewish or Irish girls but never an Italian. I hope you see my point.
Finally, the Asians are the only outside group that are "assimilating" and attaining capital to a phenomenal level that we are perceived as cutthroat rivals to white people. There is much resentment to that from other groups and this might predict dating preferences.

Well, I am from Southern Cali but I go to school in New York, so I guess I can give a good first hand opinion. The Mexican honeys in Cali are DEFINATELY more down to earth and easy going. I've even found that the Mexican exchange students are laid back and VERY friendly. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about Mexican/West coast hispanic ladies.
The Hispanic girls in New York are mostly Puerto Rican or Dominican, and many have significant amounts of European heritage. Many resemble Marisa Tomei (though few are THAT pretty, what a goddess she is). It's too bad that they have a very Eurocentric point of view in everything. Everything revolves in creating the most WASP-ed out version of their Latin culture. That includes trying to sell off their Latin pride as something that is authentic, while in reality it reeks of post-colonial shock syndrome. In plain English, many still look upto whites, but tend to look down on Asians as foreigners (how ignorant, eh?). I might sound bitter, I'm really not that bitter, since I get plenty of ass. I have no shame so I throw my game at any fine young thing that walks my way, but I've found that overall, East Coast latinas are less receptive to Asians than West Coast Latinas. Then again, it could just be the contrast between SoCal laid-backness and the tough gritty veneer you need to survive in NYC. So take my opinion for what it'worth. Good luck.

being asian or ashamed of their culture. Instead what I believe is the individual personal bias of people
[regardless of race or creed] and their choices for interpersonal relationships. This is North America
and in such a varied and diverse cultural milieu an individual may {or may not } have a greater freedom with a higher chance of resisting parental of "race" pressure....I know
I've faced this and continue to face this for my choice in a latina as my
fiance.
