WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
"A woman should always know her place. She should never step out of those boundries."
"Chicas that don't know their places has to learn the hard way man"
This is not the caveman days Ernie. I would hate to be your girlfriend. You are so old fashioned. You seem like the bossy jealoius type of man. I run from men like you Ernie. Thats one of the reasons I keep myself single right now. I don't want to get "stuck" in the quicksand. I don't want to end up with a man with your ways of thinkin.

In my experiences, many Latinas do go for looks even more so than Asian and white girls.
But, that doesn't mean that they find Asian men to look ugly. Many of them find them attractive, especially the ones with more exposure to them, such as the Latino communities in southern California.
Also, I know many of them do not turn down a man if he persisted in getting to know her. So, even if you get rejected by her once or twice, you still stand a chance on another third try. She might really be testing you. Once I begged one of these girls to give me a chance, and she obliged.
They like to hear me talk about what I plan for my future life. This is so important to them.
Don't worry about rejections. It might not be because of you. Many of these girls date young, so you got to open your horizons and ask out quite a few more. It widens your chances and gives you more alternatives.
Knowing how to cook is a big plus. Because food is so central to Mexican and Chinese cultures. It is what brings the families together.
Just be aggressive until you finally get the girls! Stay true to your own self when conversating with them!

C. Ortiz-Hernandez:
Thanks for the compliments. About well-educated Latinos/nas, plenty of them here in California. Of the 4 fellow students (incl. me) in my lab group here at UC Davis, two of them are in Med school, & they happen to be Latino & Latina. Me (an Asian) & a gringa are the dumbasses ( the ones who blow up the building) of the group. So much for racial stereotypes.
Ernie:
I know it might not be politically correct to generalize, but different cultures do TEND (a tendency, not a rule) to produce different personalities. A girl with affinity to certain personalities would obviously try to maxmize her chance by looking into particular ethnic groups most LIKELY (not always) to produce said personalities. Strictly personal preferrences, nothing indicative of which culture is superior.

I've seen alot of interracial mixes back in sacramento. I dated a korean boy back in highschool, he ended up moving away or something. He said I was the first mexican girl he had ever dated. I really liked him. It was puppy love.
But I remember it was no big deal to people about us being a couple.
It was like,so what.
