I agree with you completely in your response to Mexican lover to the end's comment. Its not good to learn about a culture strictly from stereotypes or streetlife. What does Cholitos have to do with it? Not anyone I know have them. Noone in my family is even dating a gang banger. That is pure stereotypes. That is like me saying to watch out for the chinese men who are in the mafia or working in a restaurant. I am sure that not every chinese man is in the mafia or working in a chinese restaurant. So that is really a stereotyping of chinese cultures. Right? I know I'm right. I guess it also depends on what barrio you live in too. You could be living in gangbanger territory or something. But this is not the case with me. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood.

I myself am trying to go out with this girl (a Mexican American) who was also raised by a single mother. She's the only child and I am not sure if her dad had ran away or died. Never asked yet, but I don't care.
I really like this girl, but am not sure if she would reciprocate the feelings.
The last time we talked on the phone, it started out as a topic relating to our work, then I went on to other topics and she seemed to listen attentively. I don't know if it is a sign of interest on her part or not? But, she seems a sweet beautiful girl who still got braces on despite being 20. I know she was raised by a strong person. I would love to ask out this girl only if she is interested...

Of all Latin American nations, I have seen Cuban women in Cuba to be the most opening of mixing with Asian men.
Actually, in all Latin American nations, the Asian men get more play. Maybe it has something to do with economic status enjoyed by Asians over there and the generally more tolerant attitudes of mixing in those societies?
In the USA, they have to work harder at the interracial dating scene (even with Latinas) because of all the bad rap and stereotypes.

I came here from Argentina 3 years ago.I notice many asian men here in Los Angeles. They are very lovely looking men. When I see sexy asian men I flirt with them. Flirting is fun and exciting.
