I don't have any blacks in my family. At least none that I know of. All of us are of castiillian and taino ancestry only. You can even tell by our features too. The cubans are known for their mixing with africans just like many others. But I know some of people with families such as mine in puerto rico. My taino abuelita is 93 years old. She lives across the way from us. She is a second mama to me and my sisters.

I was always curious particularly about Mexico cuz they have culturally and genetically assimilated just about everyone. Blacks, whites, Asians, etc, all got mixed up. Must be the national "mestizo" ideology. Resulting in white-looking presidents who talk about "We Indians" with a perfectly straight face. (Does Fox do this? I haven't been keeping up with his speeches ... but I read a statistic that 1 out of 12 people in Mexico still doesn't speak Spanish, mostly Indians in the mountains and in the south). But it is definitely better than all the Indian vs. White violence that kept popping up in Central America.

I think most Asian-Americans don't wanna be assimilated in that way into America. They end up mostly culturally assimilated, but not really racially assimilated. Chicken and egg problem ... does that feeling come from the perception that they couldn't completely assimilate, or do they not want to assimilate cuz they don't find the culture attractive to assimilate to?

The Spanish women are one of the most beautiful in this world, especially those from brunettes from Spain with some amount of North African Arabic blood.

Many Latinas in the Mexico and other Latin American countries with some amount of Spaniard blood look the most beautiful.

I am not dogging on the Indio women because I myself am Asian, but gots to say that Latina women with the Mediterranean features or those Mextizas with some amount of Mediterranean features are the most striking. I am sure that guys of other races: Asian, white and black go mainly after this type of Latina. (Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz types).
